All of the quests on the site have been updated !
They all now run on a similar base, and should work much better (no more item eating! We know you really have them ;)!)
Also this allows us to monitor the ratio (and amount) of sP/item between the quests, so we know what to change.
Because of this change, you may notice that some of your favorite quests have been changed. They might be giving out more (or less) sP, different items, etc. We will be working over the next few days to even things out, and make all the quests (at least a little. even if it's only 1/20 quests) profitable. :)

I terribly miss the random items that appears inbetween wizard's quests. Seeing tokens every time is a bit like <img src="http://images.subeta.org/smilies/6398_emoticon_confused.gif" border="0" />. It certainly lowers the price of the tokens a bit, though.

The Wizard Quest is Ok, but I wouldn't mind having either a better payout (so it's worth doing the quests) or maybe have a random item other than the tokens - although, the tokens are also good, providing they stay at 10 or 15.<br />

And the Saggi Quests...Ow. It was bad enough whenever he asked for one expensive item...but to have him as for FOUR expensive items? No way. Seriously, I had him ask me to get 4 items, all within the prices of 70k-unbuyable. And what would I get in return? Maybe 16k? Not worth it. What good is doing a quest when you can't even do it because it's too expensive? I mean...I can understand maybe a few quests from him that couldn't be done because it was too expensive...but to have 17 out of 20 quests not do-able because it's too expensive (only to be able to do 3 out of those 20)? That's just not fun/worth it then.

I tried doing the Shinwa quest today. I had done no other quest today and found that I couldn't complete it because the costs of the items were far too high.<br />

I have to agree with people who are saying put them back... I used to like doing Maleria and Library and Toy quests just as "little quests" on the side... I could make the money from Saggi that I needed to do all my wiz quests but that hasn't happened since the change.<br />

I've tried Sag, Wiz & Maleria quests today. Sag isn't much different except that he asks for 4 items instead of 1-2, I made about the same as I always did. Wiz isn't much different except no items as rewards, the SP returns aren't much & are all over the place (from 500 SPs to 4K). But Maleria is a total rip off, asking for 4 items totalling thousands of SPs. I gave up after 16 quests without getting a single one. And the extra step added in after you click give up is redundant & a waste of time. Wish they'd change them back, also.
Woa! I love the Saggi quests even more now! I'll bet I can earn 300k more and make it to 8 mil!

Maleria is REALLY disappointing me now, and that was the only quest I found worth doing since the change in the wizard quest formats. I've lost 70K just doing two quests for her today. Before, I actually had a 50/50 chance of making a profit. Now, about the only chance I'd have to make a profit is if I happened to have both items she wanted somewhere in my account already. I am not a happy camper at the moment...
I think the quests should be put back the way they were, especially because of this controversy.<br />
After all of the lag and the staff changes, this doesn't really help the cause. This doesn't help dial-up members at all. Saggi guests have been changed to 3 4 item quests, and that's how many people (including me) get money, so this really doesn't help and I haven't even tried other quests...but I'm not really sure I want to.

I approve of the changes in Wizard quests. I was really sad when the sP prize went away the first time, so I'm glad to have it back. Random rare prizes were cool, but not a horrible loss in my opinion.<br />

these quests stink big time. this is where i use to make my sp's. now i can't hardly make any doing any of the quests, that is if the quests are worth doing which most is not.

I would never have spent 60k on a wizard quest. That's part of the challenge to doing these quests, it's to figure out when they're worth your while and when to quit them. Personally, I won't spend over 30k for a wizard quest. I just finished my 40 (I quit 3 because they were too expensive), and after the sP he gave me is added in I spent a total of 136179 sP on 37 15 point wizard tokens. That's less than 4000 sP per 15 point token. I'd say I did well. I didn't pay as close attention to the Saggi quests I did last night, but I know after 30 I think ended up about 500,000 sP ahead or so? Just be careful you don't spend too much. <img src="http://images.subeta.org/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif" border="0" />

well, that makes my decission to not buy any GA easier, now there will be no bennefits I want from it. Sure autopricer was nice, but if i am no longer stocking up on items from the quests, i will no longer have 5 pages in my shop to do at once.

begins to plead that Maleria be put back the way she was I used to love the fact that she gave out a guaranteed amount of sp. No matter what you gave her it was 10250sp. And I LOVED that! It was the one quest where I felt I was on steady ground... and now she is a ridiculous waste of time, as the items are a lot more expensive than what she gives back. <br />

Using the Tokens on the Vending machines is not the same as getting rare items from the wizard. It's actually as if hte wizard gave out indecent prizes O_o<br />

Yeah I would have to agree with this....I have pumped hundreds of tokens in the Vending Machine and gotten JUNK everytime. At least with the wiz, The items he gave out weren't being vended to 500-1000 people at the same time. I used to get a few decent items from the Wizard everyday...

Saggitarius asking for three or FOUR items in insane. I'm really disappointed with the change in his quests. I managed to do a measly 4 out of 20 quests, because of the items he was asking for. So many UB items.. I usually get at LEAST 10/20 of his quests done, so that's upsetting. <br />

Thank you Keith and Subeta Team for all the hard work and different things you are trying to help improve the economy and prices of items around the site. Wizard and Sagi totally rock for sure. It cant be easy trying to modify the worth of items in sp values for quests but you are definitely on to something! <br />

So far ive done some saggi and wiz and they wre fine, good reward and only asked for 1 or 2 items
Well, Quentin has been nearly impossible for me. The rewards she gives is not worth my taking the time to search for 4 items. A lot of UBs. The graveyard dust must be getting to her...<br />The wizard is fine. I do miss the occasional rare item, though. <br /> Pete seems the same - I got an 85 rarity and 7,600 sP for an 80 rarity item, for example. I love that he is still a 1 item for 1 item quest. I kind of wish another quest used this system. I don't think any others do.<br /> Saggi...eh. He seems the same to me...as far as the sP given out. I automatically cancel the 4 item searches, though. His requests seem rather pricey though...maybe that was just my bad luck today.
i hope they haven't changed too much. the wizard didn't give out sp anymore, so my big money quests were maleria and saggi. i still want my large sp amounts, dag nabbit!
Wizard quests are OK and I got more tokens than before. I really miss getting the occasional rare item from him, though and this was the main reason I did them. I rarely use vending machines and don't want an Aemis so I've now got plenty of tokens in store to keep me going through a lot of Token Shop stocks. The result is that I'll probably due few if any Wizard quests now until I'm running a bit low on tokens.<br />

I'm disappointed that the wizard isn't giving out items anymore. I really liked having items mixed in with the tokens, I got unbuyables from there a lot. It also seems like the wiz is asking for more expensive items than before, but maybe I just had bad luck today.

This was my first chance to try new quests because of the time change, tried Sag & don't like the changes. First, the extra step when you give up telling you that you quit is redundant & unnecessary. And four items per quest?! It takes too long & is too much trouble to price check & buy 4 items. Will try Wiz & Maleria tonight but if those changes are as bad guess I'll be giving up quests for a while.
Sagittarius and the wizard were fair, although I did like getting items for variety, especially, since it's hard to spend tokens to begin with. However, Maleria has become awful: too many items asked for and basically no reward, in fact, mostly huge losses?!
Pete seems to be one item and give +/- 5 rarity in addition to SP now.. the lower the rarity items seem to give less sp as well.. I got anywhere from 140sp to a 6k or so

I think we all have the right to enjoy playing each game a certain way, and it is clear that while some enjoy just getting tokens, many others enjoy getting prizes as well with the wizard.

Its still depressing with Toy, Pete and Quentin. WHy did they have to be changed? Is it easier for the recode to have them all boring and the same? The main draw for subeta for me was the variety of questing choices I had, the fact that they weren't all the same requiring 3 or 4 items. Time allowed me to do the lesser item quests and then the multiple item quests later if I had time. I know alot of people did the Pete and Toy and Quentin quests the way they were.<br />

Oh, please no. I hate to go and look up more than one item, Maleria was my 'weekend' from doing Saggi and Wizard before since she only asked for one item. I never even bothered to do cursed quest because it takes too long to look up three items. :/ I'm all for the 'stop eating my items!' change, but why this? Maleria drives me crazy now, no profit at all. And I loved it when I got an item from the Wizard in mix with the tokens, why did you go and change that? :/ It's cozy!<br />

Agreed that Maleria definately needs a change. Even before, I was able to do maximum 5 out of 30 quests when she was asking for 1 item. Now it's impossible if she asks for 2 (let alone 3-4), and even when completing one, the reward of 2k I got back was definately not worth it.<br />

well they changed the wiz quests since yesterday, he asked for things worth 20k and give you 5 wiz tokens and 200 - 2000 sp each time... it was awful

I would also like to ask that you reconsider the Maleria quest setup. As it was, many of her quests weren't "do-able" even before the change, because of the high price of the items she asked for. Still, you ended up with a decent profit from the few you could do without wasting money. Now, with her asking for 1-4 items, they are nearly impossible to do- odds are, at least one of the items requested is outrageously priced (for a quest).

However, I do agree with disliking Maleria now, partially because hers are affecting Shinwa, and making those almost impossible to complete. Hopefully maybe hers can be limited to asking for only one or two items, rather than four, as the items that she asks for, dark and evil, are extremely expensive, if not unbuyable, for the most part.
That's not totally accurate.. or accurate at all, actually. The Vending Machines also give retired DP items, plus OD has two items that are unique to it. The Vending Machines also give potions; I definitely know of a Bloodred, a Dark Matter, and even an Angelic that have come from them.
They had turned unreasonable now. Just imagine, I did the Sagittarius's and got 80k for a UB.

Hmmm...I guess everyone got 10 more quests each. Don't know if it was mentioned or not, to lazy to refresh right now...I have only done 2 Wiz quests so far..But..Quests are just that, I think. It's not a give away. Only thing that made me mad before was tha fact then when new items were introduced, they were asked for. I would not mind so much if it was asking for an old unbuyable, but New Items puke. That and giving what is marked as "rare"as a prize, yet the one you got, you have about 800 of them under 300sps. The Wiz quests are doing pretty good, but what's up with the 30 quests? I don't have a GA, so how come I've got those extra 10 quests, I wonder....
I never did Wiz quests for items. I only did and only do them for tokens. I got a UB maybe once from him, but the other times I either got a 2k elixir, and an occasional item worth 50k that would deflate to 10k in a day or two, so i'm happy about getting only wiz tokens now. I'm happy with the current Wizard questing update. I also do the quests for the tokens; I lost a little sP, true enough, however I gained 27 15 point and one 10 point tokens. (And that was for mostly one item quests). Although, slight correction, when the Wizard was very first introduced, he actually gave Super Rare items; I got quite a few really nice items from him way back then. However, if you dislike the Tokens, simply go play the Vending Machines; you have roughly the same chance of receiving a rare item from them as you had of receiving one from the Wiz. <img src="http://images.subeta.org/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif" border="0" />

I dont get why some of the quests are now asking for FOUR items... isnt that kind of overkill? And like i said, Maleria now sucks, and the Wiz... I like tokens as much as the next person, but half of the fun with qiz quests was getting random other items.

If I'm not mistaken, from my first day here up until about 2-4 months ago, the only items the wizard gave out were tokens. When I first started they were only 10 point, then they went to 15 for a bit, then back to 10, then more recently items were added in. Personally, I like just getting tokens, thats the whole reason I do the quests and constantly getting items worth 1-2k after spending up to 15k on a quest when I'm hoping to get tokens for token shop or blackheart hollow restocks is more than a bit annoying. The once in a blue moon rare items definately weren't worth the trouble, so I'm all for getting nothing but tokens.

I just did the extra 10 quests on Wiz--was happy with my results, 6 x 15 pt tokens, and probably 12K plus. As far as rare items, that was never reliable for me anyway. I'd get a 'super rare' item that was only in shops for 4 or 5k...nice to get, but nowhere near reliable. Haven' had a chance to try Sag's, as I did mine earlier in the day.

I'm not sure how anyone earned anything with Sagg. Out of a dozen quests I've been able to do 2 of them. He's asked for something well over 50K (and often very VERY UB) every time <img src="http://images.subeta.org/smilies/6398_emoticon_sad.gif" border="0" />. And 4 items is too many to search for, three is often pushing it, when time is a factor, and there's still lag to deal with. More wiz quests is good, no items is sad though.
perhaps maybe instead of testing it out live to find the happy medium, a poll or some kind of survey could have helped better.<br /><br />

Does the Wizard even give out items anymore???? I was REALLY enjoying the possibility of getting the high rarity items the Wiz was giving out randomly the past month. (bottled hatred, safir, etc.) Even though that was rare, that was a huge draw to the wiz IMO.

Very nice! Only thing I can say is that the "You have quit this quest!" page thing is a little redundant and does waste a bit of time for those of us in a hurry. :> But other than that it's great, thanks guys!
I have the same problem DreamsInPink. I often have to click the button to search a few times or even refresh the page otherwise it just sits their loading forever. Same when I try to but items from user shops on occassion.

Ok yay I found my answer I came here to seek. I was worried the 30 quests was a glitch or error but I see that is the norm now. And please fix the token machine I don't want to put all 15pt wiz tokens in my vault.<br />

Items wouldn't be so pricey if people restocked more... This would cause more items in the system = lower prices... Get out there and do some restocking!

Love the toy quest fairy, totally adorable. Plus she just gave me a Crown of Ultimate Evil as a reward. I also like that the wizard is giving sP along with tokens again.

Also agree that the 'You quit this quest!' page is a pain. I liked it when for Pete at least, clicking the quite button and then 'ok' took you back to the Quest page. That was something about the Toy quests that was annoying for me... though the Toy Quest girl is adorable.

The "You have quit this quest!" page is somewhat annoying. If I quit my quest on purpose, I know that I did, or if I accidently quit, I don't excatly want to be reminded. If taking that page out is considered, it would be greatly appreciated.
Ick, it was a pain when I had to do a search for two or so items, but now there's reports of 4 or 5? Getting something good on the time limit with the Wiz was annoying enough but now? Especially if Pete and the Toy ask for lots of higher rarity items. I'd usually lose a good 40-80k on his Quests even when just doing R80's. I think I'll give them a miss until things settle out more.
I guess I don't understand why they tweaked the quests LAST time.. back when the wiz gave tokens, sP and items.. and Saggi gave NICE rewards for his quests. Why the cut back? It was a nice reliable way for us with slow internet to actually make a decent profit. I have a rough time RSing anything good.. too slow. <br />

I haven't tried the other quests yet but just did 9 saggi just to see and I have made 210K. Had 2 quests that requested 4 items and profited 100K in just those two. quit on 3 quests though...but he always did ask for items that were sometimes unbuyable or not worth it. From what I understand from the announcement though it will take a couple days of data collection before the request/reward will begin to level out, at least that is how I understood it.

I personally; and I can almost guarantee a good 60+% of Subeta members, believe that the Subeta staff should return all quests back to how they were before this change. Oh yes! I was going to ask... the same glitch that has been eating items is happening with training too; it takes about a minute to register that the pet is in/out of training.
I'm not really into doing quests so I wouldnt notice if anything changed---- I am still TRYING to be PATIENT while the GA problem gets fixed - is it being worked on or are all these other "fixes" taking precedence?????
I lost 50k on one quest. I figured because one of the items were Rarity 70, I might get something halfway decent. I was wrong. :/ I usually don't like to complain, but yeah, Pete was good as he was. I hope Toy Quests aren't the same...

wow, i just tried doing some quests for Pete and Maleria and they both wanted like 5 items at a time for some of them. not liking this at all, most of the items were so expensive too that there is no way it would be worth it.

Ouch, I just lost about 50k and I'm only on quest 10 for the wiz. I thought maybe it was similar to Pete's now, but it's not. Not going to lie, I dont like it and if it stays this way I will probably stop questing if it becomes unprofitable. Sucks because quests were one of the few ways to make some good money :/
