Expected the kumos to be somewhat... different, It's okay, but just expected something else. *Me = Kumos-Fan
The Kumos is not at all what I was expecting, but it's still nice. I absolutely love the expression and grin. The legs look off though... The Kora looks good too, but the flames coming from the body (on the right side) somehow don't seem like they're coming from the Kora (and they blend in with the flames on the ear). The flames on the ears, feet, and tails look fine.

I'm lovin' that face of the Kumos, it really adds character to it. However, it's antinomy is wrong, which bothers me quite a bit and on top of that, when I first looked at it my original thought was Graveyard, not Nightmare. =/<br />
The Kora is nice, and I love the pose, and yet I'm oddly disappointed with it. Perhaps if the flames were smeared against it's body rather than drawn over it, I'd then kill for one.

The kumos' left front leg doesn't make any sense. Where is his shoulder - in his stomach? The top of the leg should be much closer to his neck - it looks as though the shoulder is touching the top of the back thigh, which makes no sense whatsoever. I think the problem is that the body is too short - the shoulder wouldn't seem so incredibly off if there was more length between it and the hindquarters. Its body is too much shorter than the other Kumos too really look like one.<br />

Off the issue of anatomy, I have to say I'm disappointed with it. it's basically, in my eyes, an unusually dark Graveyard. None of the other Nightmare pets are rotting. And the kumos is definitely the only one with huge gashes in its flesh. It also doesn't seem to have as much of an aura as the others. I don't think it fits in very well with the others.

The kumos front legs do look a little odd to me too, I think the one on the ground is too thick and the one up in the air too thin. But I still love it, and I'll get one even if it's not fixed. xD

gapes =O!! Very awesome. Both are very cool, I really like the idea of the stretchy darkness mouth of the kumos. My only critique is that the paws for the kumos look all.. growl gonna-eat-you-big... but when they connect to the body they get all puny. ;-; And the lifted paw looks a little too small... but the concept and the art is fantastic otherwise!! Think my favourite part, after looking at it a bit now, is the Kumos mouth. It's deliciously creepy. Sort of reminds me of the sins from the webcomic <i>Jack</i> a bit, but it's still very unique. It isn't even the kumos anatomy that bothers me most, even though it does bother me. it's the fact that no matter what resolution, brightness, or colour changes I try on my moniter, I can't even see the bloody thing. Every nightmare pet just looks like a big, black blob. Pity. =/

I don't like how the mouth looks like it's rotting or pulling and I don't understand what is up with it's front right paw. It looks like it broke it and it healed on completly backwards - not to mention it looks terribly small compared to the other paws - and it's not a perspective problem. I also wish that the nightmare-whisps were more pronounced and filled the image more.<br />
