I think if you press Ctrl + F5 in FF or IE (not sure if it's both, sorry <img src="http://images.subeta.org/smilies/6398_emoticon_sad.gif" border="0" /> ) it usually gets the explore map to appear. It worked with me last time it did that.
What the heck... I always go get the wearable free gifts and put them in my wardrobe right away to test them... you mean they don't work when you go to put them on, but they go into your wardrobe okay?
