The Autopricer has been changed to search items up to 250,000sP.

Remember that the item limit change is a test :)

You need a gold account to use the autopricer, Cynder.

where do you get the autopricer anyway?
I like it that the max of the shop is 250,000 but I think the autopricer would be at 100,000. I'm afraid that the autopricer that reaches 250,000 will cause expencive items to decrease in value very quickly.

That is so not true. Just about any item you look up there are major undercuts all the way down thru the price list. If people would price a few sP under the lowest instead of thousands.. people are still going to buy the item for quests,gifts, whatever.. it is just hurting the economy.. driving prices down even faster than normal. Very few things on this site retains it's value due to people thinking if they are cheaper by thousands of sP instead of say 10 sP, their items will sell quicker. It just isn't so. Unless of course you count the people thinking the are going to make a quick profit, buy up the undercutters items and then price them at the normal price in their own shop. Bleh.. whatever. We could go round and round on the subject... but it is late and I am going to bed. waves Have a good one!
Boo! I liked it the way it was before! Autopricer only works on items up to 100K.. Change it back.. please?!
I like this change, I hope it stays.<br />
<br />
Complaining about undercutters is stupid. The only reason to undercut is if the item is difficult or impossible to sell at the higher price. If no one will buy the item at the higher price, then that means it's NOT worth the higher price. The worth of an item is what people are willing to pay for it. If people have to undercut a price, that just shows the item is overpriced.
-wtaches the values plummet- I don't like this at all <img src="http://images.subeta.org/smilies/6398_emoticon_sad.gif" border="0" />

I was wondering what was up with that the other day. Undercutting sucks, But there's not much anyone can really do about it, point blank. I've given up on arguments about the 'problem.' Because you can't force someone to price their items in their shop to your liking.
I love that we can have items up to 250k, but, I don't think it should be autopriced over 100k. If you're too lazy to handprice a few things, that's your problem. xD
By the way before my mail and comments fill with comments that are unwanted... My post was an example no I do not undercut people I clearly post I will not match a undercutters / quicksale price.
Undercutting is going to happen all be it trades or shops and people do it all the time by being able to view user comments. I.E. - someone asks me price of minion on comments / I go to give them a price and see they have already gotten one lower then I was going to ask and lower mine... I think its a okay thing to try. If in testing it works well for the site great, if not and causes more drama and issues well then atleast you tried. Doesn't bother me either way and honestly, as with any other site, if the rarity and value of an item become an issue for some of you guys then snipe.
i switched to firefox , trades work but not auctions so problems either way, will be glad when it all works again. cant do anything with my HA either either way
i have not been able to use trades for several weeks so please keep the 250k in the shops thanks marjorie
I am quite familiar with tyops<br />
<br />
they happne to me all of teh time
Thanks. very helpful but then I'm not one to use trades anyway. I imagine if someone wanted to, they still can <img src="http://images.subeta.org/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif" border="0" />
I personally don't use the autopricer for stuff over 100k (I price it by hand to make sure one person hasn't severely undercut the price), but I don't have that many "expensive" items to begin with, so...<br />
<br />
I really like the new limit though. I was able to sell some UBs for the same price I was asking for in trades (and they had been sitting in my trades for months).
I don't think this is a good idea. I have already seen low rarity items priced higher than they should be and vice versa. Under cutting is a problem but I think if the "rarity" of an item actually meant something anymore we wouldn't be having some of the problems we are having. The more common items would be more affordable and the rarer items more expensive. It actually could go either way. Because the prices are low I am able to do more quests. To me that is a major plus. I have to agree with Cobaltbluetoo that some users because of other programs they work with are stuck with using IE and I would like to see it updated, especially the trades.
If the prices drop too quickly, it's because the items were never really worth what people were asking for them in trades. I had several items in my trades and they sat there for months even though I said I'd go lowest. They sold very quickly for 250k.

I put a few 250k things in my shop and my opinion is I don't like this much at all, the prices dropped to quicky. JMO

<br />
I agree with this, it'll help to scale back the undercutting.
SWEET!!! Handpricing those was a pain in the butt.. Yay!

Awesome ^^ I was just wondering, what will happen to our items priced over 100k once this "Test" is over (if its decided that items won't be allowed to be priced that high)? Will they just return to 0 sp or will they be put in our inventory?

aww, i kinda liked that it didn't autoprice items over 100k... kept their prices from falling as quickly <img src="http://images.subeta.org/smilies/smiley_emoface.gif" border="0" />

Not sure if I want it permanent, but I'm glad for the chance to get rid of some of the junk that's been sitting in my trade shop forever. Thanks.
I don't think it's such a good idea to have things priced at 250K. Too many people get on their high horses and think the item is too overpriced and lower it to below 100K which isn't fair to those who have priced responsibly. God knows there's already enough of a problem with undercutters on this site, the economy is circling the bowl and needs to be protected. At first I was delighted with the 250K option, but after seeing what's been happening I've changed my mind. Those items need to go back into trades....which I hope will be repaired for IE users soon!
Owning several items which were previously worth quite a lot but have now dropped considerably, I do feel sorry that I'm losing on such profits. However, I don't want this place to become like Neopets where it is downright impossible to buy anything. Even the simplest of items requires you to become a slave to the site and that is not fun. I love the way anyone can find their feet on Subeta and have a decent chance of getting the items they want for a reasonable amount of work. So please keep this up! Thank you =D
Love it! Please keep it! Many of the items that the prices are dropping 'severely' were way overpriced anyhow. IMHO many of the items in trades are. I think this will really help <img src="http://images.subeta.org/smilies/6398_emoticon_grin.gif" border="0" />
Nanny, it depends - trades works great for me... o.O<br />
Thanks for the update anyway, because I need to autoprice xD.
Nice to see it being tested out, but I wonder if this might cause previously unbuyable items to drop in value severely. I've noticed one in my shop has now dropped by almost 100k already. Personally I think being able to price up to 250k would work better if autopricer doesn't recognise items over 100k. Guess we'll just have to see how things go. ^^
Wow! Thankie Keith .. Now if only the trades would be fixed .. cant seach or make new!! for days now ..
Rah STAFF
Haha, well now it's displaying an amount other than 0sp, so I guess it's fixed, but as I only just autopriced (to the point of fail) I can't autoprice again until tomorrow :3 Oh well!
after I auto price for the day... ^.=.^ well at least there will be time to have it fixed before I use it!
Yay! Mine is working now. Thanks Keith...rocks! <img src="http://images.subeta.org/smilies/6398_emoticon_wink.gif" border="0" />

Hmm it should work? Working fine for me <img src="http://images.subeta.org/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif" border="0" />

Many Many items not pricing LOL but I am glad for the 250k... will wait until its fixed to press send

well crap i just autopriced right before this news post lol.
"Oh um... Rah's right. All the "new price" settings are 0 sp."<br />
<br />
Before or after autopricing?<br />
I autopriced after midnight so I can't check...but before its not 0's. <img src="http://images.subeta.org/smilies/smiley_sadface.gif" border="0" /><br />
And a few nights ago I did use it and though the autopricer said it priced something at 888 sp it was still 0 sp for a few minutes...there is a chance its just lagging on everyone now like it was that night. Unless you mean the autopricer list itself says 0sp. Then I don't know

The settings are back to normal now.
is it working for anyone?

Sa-weeet! Thank you!!
Yeah, add me to the list. My autopricer isn't working correctly either. <img src="http://images.subeta.org/smilies/6398_emoticon_sad.gif" border="0" />
I hope it's a permanent test :3 <br />
I love this new rule
Oh um... Rah's right. All the "new price" settings are 0 sp. <img src="http://images.subeta.org/smilies/smiley_sadface.gif" border="0" />
That makes me happy. <img src="http://images.subeta.org/smilies/6398_emoticon_happy.gif" border="0" /><br />
I got annoyed with having to check through my 19 pages worth of items to find the items over 100k to reprice each night.<br />
<br />
Rah that happened to me one night, and if you wait a few minutes the items should all update. They are just lagging a bit.
Yay, thanks! ^^

Yay. Thank you! -too lazy to price things herself-
Oh yay, no more handpricing the expensive stuff. runs to play with shop
I think its a great idea and I hope we keep it smiles
Thankiiies <img src="http://images.subeta.org/smilies/6398_emoticon_happy.gif" border="0" />
Yay, thanks for doing this

Hmm - my autopricer isn't autopricing at all now. I have plenty of items that under a manual search are way below 250k (below 100k as well) but remained as 0sp after I pressed the autoprice button.
Wow, okay. I hope it's not a permanent "test" D; Oh well, good luck with it <img src="http://images.subeta.org/smilies/6398_emoticon_happy.gif" border="0" />
Yeah! Thanks, can't wait to try this out.<br />
