I preffer the Revised Revamp, with the white nose. I think it's the best one out of the lot, don't ask why. The Revised Revamp with the brown nose looks a bit odd for some reason, considering the fact that you are basing this pet on the real white bear <img src="http://images.subeta.org/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif" border="0" /> and as far as I know, real white bears have only the tip of the nose black, not whole of it coloured <img src="http://images.subeta.org/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif" border="0" /> Otherwise I have nothing against it. And whatever pthers say sbout the tail...Think, so you actulally see the tail on the real bear that stands at the same angle ans Anyu? No...<br />

This is an improvement. I still think the paws should be oversized and blocky like the old one though, that's what made it so cute. <br />

I liked it when they looked like cartoon animals instead of being drawn realistically- cartoon style art is cuter and looks more stylish and unique and is better fitting for a pet site. <br />

the old anyu didnt really look like a bear thing, this new one does. so if it was supposed to look like a bear thing, good job. i dont like bears lol. the butt seems a bit to high up in the air to me. and the things on the legs remind me to the golden compass bear. i dont like that gc bear either.
What the hell is up with people wanting a visible tail on it. o___o It the damn angle, and last I remember bears do not have wolf or cat tails the poof out like a big feather was stuck to its butt. If you don't like the default pose, then paint it a color where you can see the tail. Problem solved.<br />

It looks great! My favorite is the Revised Revamp (the second one, without the brown nose). I love it! I lked it a lot before, but those feet made me leery... With the new feet I think it look sperfect, great job Rah!
Whether it was "anatomically correct" or not as far as seeing the tail, I still miss it. And anyway, Anyu's are made up creatures. Their tails can be however the artist chooses to make 'em, so... nothing can really be anatomically correct. Real polar bears don't have wings on their ankles either... so I don't see why people are up-in-arms about how a tail wouldn't be visible on a real polar bear...

That hind leg bothers the hell out of me, I think it should be editted, but then. .__. I'm probably considered to be "whining". They eyes are wonderful, but they... look awkward with the way he's smiling. The smile should be defined differently, perhaps with a bulge of the cheek, even if only a slight one? The anklets are bulky and ugly, in my opinion-- not because of the art, but because of the design. I don't think they should have anklets, and merely dark markings in their place, like on the origional anyu. The pet looked cooler and more desirable with wings sprouting from its legs, not anklets. .__.; Hope this helps.

Guys, you gotta understand that it's not that the anyu dosen't have a tail (Rah has shown us that). The reason you don't see it it because of the angle of the body. Look up bears on google. You should see a photo of a bear in a position close to the anyu. Because their tails are so short, you CAN'T see them that way. they're not deer.
I'm still not too fond of the eyes, and I kind of wanted to see the "toes" on the feet kind of plumped up more.<br />
But I'm glad that you guys atleast made two versions of the Anyu, it really shows that your listening.<br />

I adore the revised revamp. I was pretty upset with the first one, because I have an Anyu and the colored nose is, in my opinion, very characteristic. I think the fur could be a little less angular (the points on the face look kind of unnatural to me), but overall I really appreciate this second revamp. ^^

The changes to the Anyus Re-vamp are wonderful. I was torn as to which one I loved more brown snout or white. But I have to say in all fairness, Brown snout is truer to the Anyus orignal form, and since I started playing subeta by falling in love with the anyu I would have to agree Brown Snout is the better choice. I like the revamp with the brown nose much more than the others. For some reason the others looked very ... female to me instead of something that could go with both genders but somehow the brown nose makes it seem less female and more of a both-gender creature. Also the brown makes the eyes look less tense somehow. I don't know I'm messed up. xD The only thing I would like to see is a -bit- of a tail and the 'wings' being a tad bigger. Kudos to the artist.

The ONLY thing I don't like about this revamp is I liked the ankle bracer's with the Swirly pattern that matched the swirl beside the eye, not a big fan of the blocky pattern. Other than that I LOVE this new revamp

Wolfie: The anklets are the same color as the other brown, it just has gold details to match the -eyes.-
The only improvement I see that I think would help is if the brown on the anklets was the same brown as the ears/nose. =)<br />

Well, I like all the points everyone is making, plus if it has a tail and you just can't see it in this pose, doesn't mean you might not see it in other poses. The artists have been really great about doing the animals from multiple angles, glacier color, for example. So, all of you sad about not seeing a tail...well, who knows, maybe you will in some other color. Just throwing it out there to appease people. XD
Much better - the brown nose is great, and it looks way better then the previous revamp, with the furry feet, the eyes, the bracelets, they all look better. ^^ I don't have any problems with it - very cute! I may want to get one someday, who knows?<br />

I didn't think it was possible to like the revamp more than I did, but I really feel like you've hit the nail on the head with this one! I am amazed at what a difference the little changes make...I immediately noticed the arm band design, but looking at it longer and closer I see that there have been a lot of small tweaks to almost the whole thing. I really like the little bit of darker shading around the eyes, and the changes to the wings, and the furry feet, they really flow with the whole thing now. I personally like the brown nose, as it is was part of the origional design. Wonderful work!!

I also like the revamp with the brown nose. It matches the original design, but improved (obviously), and pattern on the foot cuffs looks a lot easier to draw then the random swirl pattern on the original revamp.
I like the new brown nose one =D The shading on the upper part of the eyes does help. They looked somehow cold in the original revamp.
I think that the brown nose revamp it a great improvement over the first revamp and an excellent upgrade of the original pet. Rah: Wow, I can't believe I miss this. XD It's amazing how much easier it is to notice differences when an image over laps another. Side to side just doesn't cut it. XD
Eon: If you look at the poll options, at the very bottom is the ORIGINAL Anyu; the one we currently have. It has brown fur bands around its feet and it has -real- wings attached. That doesn't make much sense since it'll never fly. It could never fly. The wings were purely decorative.<br />

The bracelets are still bothering me. Why is it wearing bangles in the first place? and ignoring the nuisance of default 'clothing', why are they the same color as its markings?
I like the brown nose revamp much better. The brown nose brings balance to the face, makes the ears and eyes stick out less. The bracelets now sit on the "wrists" instead of looking like they are cutting off circulation on the legs. The hairy paws look more like they belong on the bear instead of being stuck on. Still rather if the paws were a bit bigger but this is as a vast improvement. Very good job.

Wow, Noir that really shows it. I like the newest revamp very much. the bigger feet and subtle shape change are a huge plus. I am still a bit disappointed in the feet wings. I think the original ones had a much nicer, smoother shape. the newer ones look disheveled and tweaky (is the only word I could think of). Not really smooth, but a huge plus compared to the first revamp wings. Good job! Overall I think it's a win, but I still voted for the oldest one because I think it could still be better. ^^;

Ginger: While I agree that when pets get revamped, sometimes their awesome colors suffer; I think it's asking too much of the artist to redo all the pets when it's in the evaluation stages.

The artwork is beautiful but the bands on the legs bother me. I liked the shading when they seemed to be part of the fur. Now they make me think of slavery - or those bears which are kept locked up all the time ( moonbears I think), and like the dancing bears.Sorry.
The reason people compare it to a polar bear is because Keith specifically said "it's meant to look more like a polar bear." I understand that it's not an EXACT replica of a polar bear. I'm not that dense, thank you. But if it were supposed to be based on one, then there are far more anatomical differences between polar bears and other bears than just color... and if "other bears" was the intent, then he wouldn't (or at least shouldn't) have said it was meant to look like a polar bear.<br />

I am amazed at how the smallest changes truly changed the image. First off, because I don't think I posted on the original News post, I have always loved the concept of the Anyu, but never wanted to get one. The new revamp is amazing, and I really want to own one now. I even have a name idea for it. I love the altered definition on the shoulder, which was needed, and the sharpened wings. Oh, and the brown nose. It really does look better with a brown nose.

Yay, everything I thought needed tweaked is fixed! Well, not the tail, but I'm starting to think it would look odd with one. The toes are furry, the nose is brown, the bracelets match, and the eye are so creepy! Wonderful re-revamp!

I really want to know what the fuss about the tail is, anyway. XD I can understand perfectly well why it wouldn't be visible but even more so that making it visible would be idiotic. Bears have teeny tails and it would have to be huge and fluffy in order to show up from behind one of their huge butts.<br />

Yes, I referenced a variety of bears to draw the Anyu <img src="http://images.subeta.org/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif" border="0" /> While it has features of different bears, there are things I chose to add to it. The neck ruff is something you see more on grizzly, I suppose. The face IS more teddy bear like, just a caricature bear face really. <br />

The bulk is there to stay - there's little point in telling me that 'polar bears aren't that fat' because this isn't an exact drawing of a polar bear. Of course ou are welcome though to be disappointed that the anyu is bulkier than you would like - bulkier than the old anyu. But that was my artistic decision, I'm afraid, and I know I can't please everybody. <br />

Earlier I said that I liked the Anyu with a brown muzzle and that the bracelet at the front was a bit chubby. But now the one with the brown muzzle is amazing. Nothing needs to change at all. Cute little cuddly bear! Amazing work Rah! loves on

It isn't supposed to look -exactly- like one, either. it's size was simply used as a reference. I'm suprised the people complaining about the polar bear thing didn't even notice an obvious difference before mentioning the neck ruff or anything else; which would be the MUZZLE. Polar bears have really long, rounded muzzles, not square short-teddy-bearish muzzles. See? polar bear+anyu=Not the same thing. But yeah. Yay for the tail not showing. Thanks again, artists.

The feet look so much better. The bands still bother me, but now that I look at it, brown fur probably wouldn't work either. The swirls look better (tho i still think the line is a little thick) and the nose! glee the brown nose is back! brown nose=anyu to me. VOTE BROWN NOSE! XD
Guys, there IS a tail. You just can't see it. x_o And the chubbyness is a part of its CORRECT anatomy. From that stance, you CANNOT see the tail of a bear and all bears look chubby. Go look at pictures if you don't believe me.<br />

Wow... that's about the most reaction I've ever seen an artist give to criticism. The feet look better, the bracers and wings look better, the brown muzzle is back... even the eyes and ears have improved. Kudos for that.<br />

it has definitely improved...but i still don't like the doofy expression, the fatness, and the lack of the tail. i still prefer the original, mostly because of it's cub-like look. if you could apply the new neat little details to the old, more cub-like design, i would probably adopt an anyu. as it stands, i still won't be getting an anyu if this revamp passes.<br />

I shall attempt a simple rundown on this, as I do like the revamp so far. The choices threw me off slightly, as I liked the brown nose, but I also liked the altered version with the greek key design on both sets of shackles. Also, although this is probably not up for consideration, I think it might look better with the mouth closed.
Oh wow, I'm really loving the revamped versions (those bracelets were really getting to me), especially the brown muzzled one. <br />

Wow that was fast and its not only one revised revamp but two. Kudos to the artist they're really taking the users suggestions to heart. I like the revised revamps alot better. The paws and anklets bothered me on the old one I'm glad it was fixed. Also, at the angle the revamp is at, you wouldn't see a tail, even though it's there, unless it was extra poofy, which it is not.

Everything I didn't really like in the initial revamp was fixed, I love it now (the brown-nosed one). Even the extra bulk has grown on me.<br />
If I had to make one teensy eensy nitpick, it'd be that I liked the swirly decals on the cuffs a little better than the square ones. <br />

Almost forgot to be constructive... To keep it simple, it's perfect. You fixed every flaw and were actually able to please me. No small feat I assure you. XD I'm still unable to choose between the two however. I'd say release them both and make every male Anyu the ones with the brown snout and the females with the white but I know that's not going to happen so on to plan B. Heads or tails... flips quarter Heads white snout, tails brown.<br />

Yayyy, you considered the shackle change! =D I think both front and hind shackles being the same adds a sense of balance. I'm really glad you didn't add a long tail- I found it funny how everyone was using the "Based off a real bear" excuse to try and convince the artists to draw a long tail.. Considering the natural girth or size of any bear or even the anyu, the tiny tail- though present- would be impossible to see at that angle. I voted for the brown-noser revamp, although the one with the white muzzle looks just as nice. I dunno. I voted for the brown muzzle to retain the true originality of the old anyu, i guess. Thanks for the opportunity to vote again, and for your consideration, artists! ^^

Hmmm... The body and porportions are fine to me, but it's just the eyes and markings, etc. that bother me... I personally would rather the one w/o the brown nose, but add a tail and a bit more of a smile...? I think that the pet's characteristics are more happy and innocent! PLEASE THKE THAT INTO CONSIDERATION!!! (The Kora isn't as innocent as it once was!! 0_o'')
