okkk I give up, and those aren't words I say very often...but I have looked up, down and all around on the site and can not find anything. I might just be over looking something, don't know...but I ended up just guess a letter like everyone else. Nowwww, wouldn't it be a real nice Christmas present if all of us that did guess got the gift just because we racked our brains all day looking for this !! Welllll, so I still believe in Santa ! :-)
Has there been ANYBODY who is sure they found the right answer? I don't think I've seen one person. Lol there isn't even the author of the question this time since it was Debi herself so maybe no one will get it right! Will that be a first for trivia?

Well, with 998 answers, I figure there should be between 25 and 50 correct answers, since I think everyone of them, including me, guessed a letter and somewhere between 4% - 6% should be correct. LOL

menmeryiset and Sawars - I guess the upside is atleast it isn't just us but the downside is to those of us wanting the item more then the point doesn't seem as though that many will be won which means prices won't drop much. I am still searching and can not find anything.

I have also searched everywhere. Even in the most obscurest of places and can find nothing to fit that sequence. This ones either really obscure or in such stupid place that no one in there right mind would look unless their mate told them too and they knew the answer in the first place. is annoyed lol

OccamsRazor if the rules allowed that sort of variation then the answer "that place where they sells shoes and stuff" would also be correct since the person obviously knows its the sole train. It's not the answers which need to be looked at - if anything it's the questions. I'm sure it's very difficult for Debi to find questions she can use - ones which arent too easy, are clear and easy to understand (whatever your first language) and have one definitive answer. I don't know why the last question suddenly needed an article when all the others don't but there must have been a reason. What I find annoying is things like the last sequence question (by Efinesse) the letters we were given were lower case but the onsite answer was in capitals. I was looking for the sequence in lower case only.

To be honest, I would be surprised if the specification about the article was in the Trivia from the beginning. But I have said many, many times that the whole Triva mechanism needs to be re-coded to allow for multiple possible answers, e.g. The Sole Train and soul train (along with all capitalization variations) should be correct. Clearly people who put either answer knew what the question was asking.
I've looked solidly for about 2 1/2 hours. I can't find it. I really dislike the sequence ones (number or letter - I have never got one yet!

The prize is VERY awesome and I was actually surprised that the answer was so easy based on what the prize looks like on the HQ. So, I guess it wasn't really easy since they changed the format. In a way, that's a good thing. Trivia shouldn't be too easy.<br />

Its not really just the article included part that has people up in arms (though I do agree that's its a bit irritating to suddenly change the format around like this). Its the fact that Debi doesn't even know what answer she put into the trivia to begin with, so we don't know for sure WHAT format to put the answer in. That is why people are so upset over this.

I don't get how users can be upset at the fact that this question is an exception to the rules when it states, as plainly as possible, that the answer includes an article. I many trivias, the hint to getting the correct answer is to read the question carefully. Now my comparison before wasn't entirely accurate, I acknowledge that, but to maintain that the question is unfair because of an assumption on the users part is just wrong =/ My opinion, anyway.

Yay, got this one and the previous one quickly. But if the answer WILL be with the article in it, and the prize will still be reused.. that'll be kind of annoying :/ That should be done if it was a mistake on Debi's behalf, not on the users.. and it's not like it's an unbelievably hard trivia, either. Yeah, so usually it's without an article. And it's -written- that it's without an article. So you know, when it's -written-, that it's without an article. Secateurs, you can compare it to whatever you like. There has always been the norm of NO article, and if you read the comments I am hardly the only one who automatically went with what the norm has been up until now. As for the question, I read it just fine, and am quite sure I got the answer correct as to what the norm has been up until now. Misspelling something because you write it in too quickly really can't be compared to assuming the norm hasn't changed for the format.
