i didn't answer this one, cause i knew i would end up getting it wrong on the things that change pets colors and species but DANG!! i didn't know about the plushies! okay, i knew about two of them-mystery sheeta and twilight kumos but i didn't think twilight montre plushie changes pets either. i even looked that one up on subetahq and they don't say anything about it. wow, i would have never guessed so few won it. glad i don't like it enough to go broke.

Here is what I answered: 
 
A = 555 
B = 9 
C = 36 
D = 12 
 
= 1172 = 1170 rounded down 
 
The only thing I can figure is that I should have included elixirs that change the pet back to just a common color. I.E. Kumos Elixir as opposed to Dawn Kumos Elixir. I only counted the ones with colors before them which was a total of 548 + 7 mystical cadogre plushies. Anybody know if that was what I did wrong?

Hmm well to even get the answer right is has to be 612 (reverse the equation and solve for 'a') ((612/9)+ 36)*12=1253 
 
Currently with the Elixirs and odd things added in it's 609, so we are still missing 3 items..hmm.

I added in the wand as well and it's not coming out to the right answer. How did you all do your math? I did mine in sections rounding when needed as I went - A / B then + C then * D = X You get a different number if you do order of operations. Both of my answers are wrong. Don't know what I am missing or doing wrong. *breathes in* lets it go =D

It is an Elixir so most likely, you had to near manually go through the list of elixirs and weed out the 'non' species things. Saddly I just suck at math lol.

Why would a common potion count? I got a mail from Keith saying that plain elixirs counted, because common counts as a color, but a common potion would only change color, not species.
