It is similar to the dark matter one. I put "dark matter potion" because it said "you feed it to your pet". Another part of that clue talked about how there was never just one, which is a reference to dark matter. So, I didn't get that prize because I focused on the wrong clue.<br />

On this one, the backwards glance was a huge clue. Sheeta has the right stance. And she's modelled after goats and what not, which do have hooves. So, it made sense to me.

Interesting. Sheetas fit all the clues perfectly EXCEPT the one about hooves, because Sheetas have two-toed paws. Their feet are round like toes (hooves would have a flat bottom), they change shape when pressure is put on them (indicating they're made of a soft, fleshy material... perhaps flesh?), there is no definition between them and the rest of their leg (unless the Sheeta's whole body is made out of this same soft, hoofy material).<br />

Sheetas have camels' feet. There was a thread on Neocolours about them, when the graveyard sheeta was unveiled. People asked then about why the 'paws' weren't skeletal, and the artist explained that the sheeta had hooves, like a camel. And really, there isn't another glacier pet that gives a disdainful backwards glance.

Sheeta have *paws*, as clearly shown in illustrations. Darkonite is looking back, though not over shoulder, has horns, has hooves. Another one to add to the "they messed up but won't admit it" list, like the ones where the answer onsite is spelled wrong, but a copy and paste of the answer is incorrect, and a correct spelling doesn't match the site (which we are so often told it must do). If you look at the pics of other sheetas - especially the galactic, graveyard and reborn you can see they are actually hooves. It has cloven hooves not two toes. The reborn hooves are actually shiny. It makes sense that they have cloven hooves since they have sort of goat like horns and ears. Darkonites have hooves in the back but paws in the front! I never noticed that before.

I have a Glacier Sheeta: it does not have hooves! This is why I picked the Darkonite - it also glances somewhat backwards. Oh well! Glad to see DebiLee is back, even though I don't do to well with those sequences in general....

It couldnt be a glacier darkonite or anything other glacier with horns because it the "backward glance" has to be there somewhere. At least that's what sealed it for me.<br />

I went with Glacier Bovyne. It had hooves, horns, it was heavy so I figured it could break ice and it had a mini Borialis in it's necklace. Almost went with Sheeta too but the paws through me off. Oh well, win some, lose some.

I still say Sheeta's don't have hooves. If it was to be anything it should have been a Darkonite (thought they don't really have horns), Bovyne or Antlephore. <_<; Ah well...whatever. I didn't want the trivia prize that badly anyways. XD Could have used the SP from selling it...meh.

The Spectrum still looks like bony ears, but the Chibi's does look like horns, I'll admit. But I think that's because it's because the Chibi is still based on the older version of the Darkonite.<br />

Yeah I also thought the sheeta just had two toes...they really don't look like hooves. I put Glacier Darkonite. What possible way was there to tell that it WASN'T Glacier Darkonite? Because Glacier Darkonite fits it perfectly too.

I dunno, I don't think they're ears either. If you look at the spectrum version, for example, you can see cracks in them. -shrugs- My two cents anyway, I don't know if I can trust my eyes today or not. =P

I guessed Glacier Darkonite because it definitely had hooves, in the back, and comparing that to the Sheeta I wouldn't say the Sheeta has proper hooves. But the Darkonite was a more sideways glance, so I was torn. Toss up between the two and then I thought well "chill cuts to the bone" might refer to the crack on the Darkonite's head where you can see thru to the skull. Oh well. Bring on more riddles, though!
