Ugh, confusing. I know the answer but figuring out which answer to put exactly isn't quite as easy. x_X
Either that or if it wasn't for the 'generally used/accepted' part of it. The two parts together completely confuse me and the '<br />

Just talking here.. plants can have different family species and varieties, like a red or yellow rose.. and they both could have different names depending of what type of yellow/red rose.. like a tea rose or a climbing rose.. then it breaks them down into small small little families.. make since? And then we have common names which in different areas are also different.. and that brings us back to why plants have a scientific SPECIFIC name.. all the way to the varieties.. which is why there could be 3 names.. well 3 'things'. ( or two, or one lol)<br />
this is the same with animals, insects etc, <br />
Science is fun.. there are bored MAD scientific who sit around and do this to just make ones head POP! ( and when it does they name those parts too! LOL)<br />

Its okay, its just the 'generally used', that gets me.. the reason behind scientific names is so it narrows it way way now to the variety of ,a lets say item.. and it so can be used in all areas of the world... the common name I am thinking of is just too general for a FULL scientific name<br />
or I am making this too hard.. its the OWL trivia flashback! lol<br />

hehe, I found it and I put the full scientific name....the question says lengthy so I assumed it would want a longer name so I put both.....hopefully I'll get it right XP...we shall see.
