Thank you for the Happy Birthdays. <img src="http://images.subeta.org/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif" border="0" /> I only see it as having one correct answer as well, especially considering the timing of when it was added.
I found it rather interesting that the question has been deleted on yahoo answers. I have put in my guess, yesterday in fact, but I felt the need to see how many other people tried to just get the answer the lazy way.<br />

If the staff here had anything to do with yahoo taking it down, kudos to you. It's not fair to see that other people get it without doing the work.<br />

I just found two answers for this trivia, both of which fit /perfectly/ with the question asked. I know I picked the wrong one as it is more obscure. I don't even want the prize, but its the principle.<br />

Actually, I generally don't bother responding with the people I disagree with in the comments, and I certainly don't always agree with the "be nice to staff plzkthx" cliché if I feel people are making a good argument. But for some reason it just irked me more than other times, to use your word. As for the earrings, they're going for only 1 mill-ish in the trades (which seems low in comparison to other prizes) so they'll hopefully go down quite a bit.<br />

No. that's not correct. There are not 5000-6000 answers for "real" Trivias, only for non Subeta giveaway Trivias. There are rarely more than 2000-2500 answers for actual Trivias. And it has gone up, from 500, to 1000, to 1500. More than 2000 answers tend to bog down the site when the prize awarding script runs. The only reason that the one Trivia even got to 5K answers is that I was off sick for three days.
Where did I ever say that either black or white were, or were not, colors? All I think I said is what's missing. XD
I think you're imagining that most of us are spending more time being frustrated than we actually are. Sure, I'm irked that I had no chance to answer it. But I can come by, discover a new trivia, and vent, and spend no more than five minutes doing it. What's more interesting to me is the number of people who, every time anyone complains about a trivia, say "it's just a game" and "don't be mean to staff, they work hard" and "you should feel lucky we have trivias at all."<br />

Sorry, but I just can't make myself see the other side of the argument. I guess I understand why it'd be frustrating, but the trivia is such a small part of the site that it seems silly to me to make a big deal about it. Unless some sort of MAJOR corruption was being done by the staff, which isn't the case. And the point is, this certainly doesn't happen for every trivia. There are some that last for absolute aaaages (well they feel like it xD). There's going to be plenty more trivias, and you're bound to have time to do some of them.

And if she left the trivia up, and didn't switch the prize, then I can see complaints about the item being worthless because too many are in circulation. Lynelle, as past trivia's have shown, there are at least 6000 members that attempt to participate in the trivia. I'm not saying we should leave the trivia up for days for all 6000 people to answer. <br />
The last trivia was up for roughly 16 hours. That is just not long enough for people who actually have jobs and school and can't spend all day on Subeta waiting for a trivia.

But I bet a fair amount aren't active (my four children hardly ever play the site these days, but they keep their accounts cause they like to plaster each other with snowballs now and then. LOL). 1700 entries on a site that has almost 200 thousand registered users is not right. I really disagree with the rule that says if it gets over 1000 users its alright to change the trivia. Sure, it was fair a few years ago when the site was smaller, but guess what. Sites grow and games that are based on how many people enter /need/ to be changed or given a time limit. I really don't see how staff fails to realize this. <br />
