And bloomers came about back when it was considered practically a crime for a woman to show her legs; if I'm remembering correctly, bloomers were the first sort of pants/trousers that women wore, before they were allowed to actually start wearing pants.

Of course I didn't notice the black pair until I stood up. The angle of my screen made them look brown. e.o
Hooray for Bloomers! Now if there was only a black or white pair I could complete my Lolita outfit...
