Well now, for each referral, you actually get a prize :o! Right now there isn't a list of these prizes on site, but there will be soon. However, the prizes should start being handed out for referrals you've already completed.
If you want these prizes for yourself, make sure to start referring! Get your friends to join! Put banners on your blog, myspace, etc.

I was kinda wondering too...if we referred, example, 4 people or something before (and it's listed under our preferences), and we only get one prize for the start of this system...does that mean next time when we get a prize for a fifth referral, we won't get the prizes for the second and third and fourth referral, or we won't get a chance to other than buying the item?

Yeah ummm what's the relevance of the unique link when it doesn't auto-fill the referrer field? I have banners all over everything but I don't think I get credit for referrals if they don't know my username.

argh, I've referred about four people, but only one bothered to put my name in the box when registering. XD; OH WELL.
i would.. some of my friends actually tried to sign up in subeta using their hotmail address, but they never got a sign up notification from the site. but this was like, last year? last, last year? not sure, but i hope they fixed it cause it didnt only work for the hotmail addresses

i only got one prize too i refered 6 people too and the event said you have recieved a prize for refering 1 people

aww so if we referred them a while ago and they didn't play much and are inactive they don't count?
It can't have to do with the person being active or not, but I also had more than one referral and only got a prize for one. Not that I am complaining, but I would have rather of had a trophy for my one that was actually accepted than just a wizard token.

Unlike the person below, I think it's better with a lot of people. Good luck with rebuilding your site. I think a lot of people probably thought the site died when .org disappeared. Real bummer.
I had 21 referrals but the events says, I got one prize. It is about two years ago, when I referred people, is this the reason?
I love the idea. I don't think anyone I know would be interested in joining Subeta too XD But I hope it brings the count of people online up!
