Journals have been given a few improvements recently (like, they actually work now! :P), and the 'default' layout has been updated. All previous layouts had to be removed (because most of them didn't work), so you have to visit the journal page to have yours reset to the new one. ;)There are more improvements in store for the journals; right now, it's good that they just work, though. ;)

mysielynn - the code is [*avatar="*username_here"] without the *s for your current HA, but if you want to post previous HAs, what I do is upload the images and then use the [*img]image_url_here[*/img] code, without the *s.

This is awesome! Can someone tell me what the code is to show off your full-body avatar, rather than just your head? I've poked around the forums and I can't find anything about it...
Would it be possible to add a button that resets the layout coding to default? I'm afraid of exploding my journal, lol.
I've looked at the default coding too and changed the turquoise into a brown. Might tweak it a bit more later. Nifty, simple layout for a default <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_grin.gif" border="0" />
