Yeah I'm with you on that. The back shot can be a good pose, but there are so many other good poses. I guess the Sheeta (the first pet with the back/butt pose if I recall correctly) was so popular that it's now one of the standard glacial poses.

Anyhow, I do like this one <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif" border="0" /> I wish I could see it's face, but I like the attitude it's portraying.

Oh, his jaw line is astonishing there. And the detailed shading on the musculature of his leg is also very nicely executed. I like how his gutting claw is just barely visible xD
