I give up. How anyone can think Tche's comment had anything to do with hearts from last year is beyond me. The only hearts needing deletion are any that were collected THIS year after they went active and were duplicates or collected en masse as a result of the timer not working at first. This isn't rocket science.
i messaged tche cause i dont know what the rules are. like i said i have a whole bunch from last year and people are selling them in their shops and also some from the donation center. we need more explanation about this.
Now, with the hearts I've grabbed out of the DC...are those glitched hearts...or am I safe?

Oh good, the timer's fixed. Now I won't be so worried over if there was a glitch or something!
I just deleted 4 of them, so I'm left with 2 from profiles, 2 from donation center, and one that I bought awhile ago when I saw it in the recycling center.. in case there's any confusion.

Last year I was collecting them so thus more than two, I had mo then one love rocket, the I love you, Pirate Love, Emo Love and I just bought Love sucks in a shop NOT to long ago! Arghh! Anyway I poofed a bunch, I just got a candy heart box so I shall not gather for a while as I dont want to have anything be wrong! Maybe wait until 2-3 hours go by to be sure!

Rainykins - I dont think people are justifying anything. It seems that as soon as people realized something wasnt right - they came straight here trying to find out what they needed to do. The heart event started two hours ago. If people get hearts "every hour or SO" they could be expected to have anything up to 3 hearts by now I would have thought.
Cinnamon_Spider/Jen - don't try to overcomplicate it. It's quite obvious Tche was only referring to hearts gotten from user Profiles and not from buying them somewhere. Besides, I wasn't singling anyone out. I see posts all over the Help as well as in here where some ARE trying to justify keeping more than one heart from the outset of PROFILE collecting.
If the site bugged, delete the duplicates as well.

Raineykins - I'm referring to the hearts I got by other means (bought from shops, donation center, etc.) Anyone could buy a heart from a store now - they could buy as many as they wanted, and they would have more than 1... so, do we have to get hearts that were gotten in that way?

the fastest way to delete them is make a new or shop, move them there using quick stock, then delete the shop. i did that and it worked. make sure you don't put any useful items in there

The post says to "grab a bunch", but I do not think it is supposed to give you two per click... and until the staff comes on to say there is not supposed to be a time limit... I'd be careful if I were you. This just <i>screams</i> glitch to me.

Uggh I hate this. The news said "grab a bunch" - I couldnt remember how it worked last year- or even what they were for - so I got one from each of a few friends profiles. Now I see there are glitches, maybe timers, maybe you get into trouble for having them, maybe you should delete them, dont touch them... Seriously its not worth trying to join in anything!!

Tche commented on the shoutbox that it shouldn't be like that, I deleted all of mine just in case ._. I'm 99.9999% sure it's a bug, and the fact they still say "retired" helps.

I stopped collecting them after the second click... the time limit does not seems to be working, and an SQL bug seems to be giving you two hearts instead of one. Better watch out; this looks like a bug... and you could be iced for abusing it.
