I traded a firecracker for mine. It was at the time the only one around for sell. I use mine and it's paid it's self off. I don't know if it's still worth it or not since I haven't been active on a continually basis since the shops got priced based on how many were purchased so I don't know if it would still be worth it or not.
All I know is that if I was going to spit out 150M I would want a discount somewhere other than the regular hang outs.

Keith has always hated the discount cards, always. He never liked bringing them back to the CS or even releasing them period. I expect nothing less then the price.

i'm glad i got mine from the cash shop ages ago. i even had a hard time selling my duplicate for 40m around christmas and settled for 25m.

I was pretty happy with my 10% card - till I accidentally donated it! Yet I never got to use it on the millionaire center or Subeautique, where it would have made a real difference in purchase price. This was a present, so it didn't have to pay for itself, but I doubt, a 250 mio credit card will ever pay for itself, so I guess it's pretty useless?

The main shops -aren't- expensive, this is...like...pointless. I reckon it's pointless having a discount card on Subeta anyway but just my opinion. X;D If it worked in the MC and stuff, then it it would be worth it but eh.
