Hello all!
Just a heads up that we will be performing some database maintenance today in order to reclaim some disk space back.
This might result in a few 5 minute periods where the site is down today, culminating in a downtime window sometime in the early am either tonight or tomorrow when we actually swap in the new database.
We're doing this to give us some breathing room in our free disk space and ensure the site stays fast!

Thank you, Alex. We appreciate all your hard work. And it's always nice to know that it's scheduled maintenance going on when the site doesn't respond. Valenth is currently not responding either. I wonder if it has anything to do with the work going on here?

Personally, I don't care if it's down for hours, if it improves the site. Subeta is constantly growing and changing, and that's vital to keep the public interested. Stagnation is death for any online game or petsite.
I just wish there were something I could do to help. I mean...other than stay the hell out of the way, that is.
