So that's what happened to amy! I was wondering why she had been replaced. And..."took the news well" what the...? there's something wrong with her sister if she took the news well. I hope that was a mistake on the part of the writer/story creator. LOL

This IS random, just because killing off a child NPC on a petsite is totally unheard of, even if there was a long plot leading up to it. I'm weirded out by the ending but not annoyed or anything. It's just weird. :p
Also: RS war next year could be between the good god Whatshisface and Shinwa. Shinwa RSes items with 'Light' in the name, and Whatshisface RSes items... like that. or something.

I'm sorry, what? This is one or the more rediculous things I've heard recently. This story was actually rather tame compared to what normal people/teens get into and are reading nowadays. Anyone young enough to be bothered by this are probably too young to legally be on Subeta anyway, and it's their parent's job to monitor them.

Kidnapping is no big deal to read about. There are people in 5th grade learning about war. And murder? I'm pretty sure there was no mention of it.

i love this story because it doesn't hide anything. and it shows that everyone's got flaws and we're all capable of making mistakes. good things happen and bad things happen. it's life o_o
Chrisabell, dude, seriously. Kids are a lot tougher than you think, and you'll harm them more if you try to shield them from reality; it makes them absolutely self-absorbed. I would be grateful if you'd STFU, since kids under 13 aren't allowed on Subeta in the first place.

The site doesn't always have happy endings and doesn't make you feel like a complete idiot watching Barney. Even though this was really sad, I think this plot was beautiful.
It goes along with the whole islander sacrifice thing everyone talks about. It's really unfortunate the islanders think they did nothing wrong, which is why people usually view sacrifice as wrong and awful.

That's quite an accurate description of Shinwa, actually. She does have a very vain streak, and I suspect that for all her going on about being the ''good'' goddess, the reason she troubled herself at all to make a statement is because Amy looked like her. And Kahaleitzli is ~*~SOOOOO EVILLLLLL~*~ when I honestly can understand why he did what he did. :/ Was it the right thing? Honorable? No and no. But with the situation being what it was... I mean, just, guys, as much as it's the right thing to do, going against the goddess of the sea really does not seem like a smart thing to do, considering she's, uh, the GODDESS OF THE SEA, and that to fight her we'd kind of have to be able to get to her, and she... is underwater. In the sea. Which she is the goddess of, and which pretty much all of us can drown in pretty easily. :'D We don't have actual guaranteed fairytale endings in things like this, as shown by the last page. Going against Merana could very well have put Kaha's entire people at risk of being annihilated. She's the goddess of the sea. Wiping out a village shouldn't be too hard for her.

Wow, I can't believe they actually let her die -- I was, in fact, on the same page as those who thought there would be some twist for her to survive. But that's the beauty of plots on a website such as Subeta, or Valenth -- there's room for darkness.
Poor Amy, though. :/ Even if I am an Islander, and I understand why we/they need to go through with the offering so that Merana won't kill them, it's sort of sad that somebody that young was used for such.
