For the malticorn, the overall quality of the art is far better than before. It was outdated, but now it looks lovely. Its facial expression is spot on <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_grin.gif" border="0" /> and don't even get me started on that awesome tail!
The ruffie is a great improvement also. The shading and the details of the fur are beautiful. I like how the pose was kept from the old art. I also love it when they interact with the dark matter <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_grin.gif" border="0" />

the drool looks awesomely realistic
the facial matter's expressions are super funny. i realy love the one on the mouth and the one on the right with that sad look, but the others looking interested and afraid are super cute, too.

about the malticorn i love how it looks. i can't even describe how it looks. if i had to guess i would say it looks like one recently disturbed it and now it feels found out xD.
i also like that both the poses look like the anatomy was fitting perfectly with what one knows from comparable animals.
same goes for the other dark-matter revamps. the new art-quality is by far better than before!

@xRin: It's just that Luxe has asked multiple times that if you want to see another pet, put it in the suggestion forum! The artists don't scour the news posts, and staff just wants to have all of the suggestions in one place so they can keep track of what users want. It just makes sense.
