It looks like darkmatter possession hasn't done much to increase the mallarchy's intelligence. Hopefully, Maleria is okay with this.

I think the orange looks fine as it is being affected by the purple hue, and it would look really wrong to have a bright glaring in your face ORANGE.

Aww, it may not be the brightest crayon in the box, but it sure does have a cute face. ♥ The shading on this one is really lovely. I keep staring at that planted back foot when I look at the pet for a while, the execution of it is just flawless. Wonderful angle and shading. .o.

Rah, do Mallarchies have fur or feathers over their bodies? The shading on this one leaves the answer to that question a bit ambiguous. Is he a fuzzy duck of a feathery duck?
