I think the orange looks fine as it is being affected by the purple hue, and it would look really wrong to have a bright glaring in your face ORANGE.

@NoirRaven: No other pets have orange features in glacier, but it worked on the glacier mallarchy. This species just tends to keep its flesh color no matter what <i>color</i> it is.

I'm usually not a fan of this particular species,but I am so getting one of these.
P.S.: I see some debate about feet and beak color. I think you guys should keep them this way. They add to the cuteness factor. Purple ones just look weird.

Aww, it may not be the brightest crayon in the box, but it sure does have a cute face. ♥ The shading on this one is really lovely. I keep staring at that planted back foot when I look at the pet for a while, the execution of it is just flawless. Wonderful angle and shading. .o.

Rah, do Mallarchies have fur or feathers over their bodies? The shading on this one leaves the answer to that question a bit ambiguous. Is he a fuzzy duck of a feathery duck?
Well, either way, I like the pose. It's nice to see more of these unusual poses for pets out there, especially the Mallarchy, since it really has so many interesting anatomical points to it.
