Thanks to your feedback, the hipposaru has been revamped and will be known as the hipottu from now on. Although subtle, this change was made to avoid associating it so closely with foreign creatures from other planets. ;)
We'll be updating items around the site today to reflect this change.

I disagree. The leg size seems alright to me as far as proportions go and its not necessarily that the neck is nonexistent. The Hipottu has its head turned in an angle so that if you were looking at it head on (no pun intended xD), the neck would be hidden behind its head. I also love the new ancient mystical look that its been given with its new markings. The name to, adds a dollop of cuteness to its new look. I like it a lot better than the old name which in my opinion was way to long, I couldn't even pronounce it! <3
I'm still going crazy because the legs are disproportionately long and the neck is nonexistent, but overall I would agree that it's at least an artistic improvement, over the originally polled revamp and the previous Hipposaru.

I liked the larger wings better, but this is definitely better than the old ones. They look like something I might actually consider getting at one point if I figured out a good character for it. x3

When I first saw these, I thought they had amazing potential to be adorable. And now they're just that! I actually want to own one now, and I can't wait to see what the artist does with all the other non-common poses. The markings are beautiful, and his sweet little face is just perfect! I think this has toe one of my favorite revamps.

I loved the old name..the new one is just...so unfitting it seems to me. The art and everything of the revamp is lovely of course but there's just something not right...I believe its the colors and markings..just seems so unappealing..I believe its the spots down the legs..don't know. Either way good revamp. Looks much better

Not as cute, although ive NEVER been a fan of them. This revamp is just another reason for them to be on the bottom of my list, looks terrible compared to the older one. Im not saying that the art is bad, LOVELY art, Just bad color/pose/detail choices for this pet =/ Just doesn't seem like a pet that would have very nice color revamps. But this is all just my opinion, dont flame me for saying it becuase I know that a majority of the people on subeta agree.
