The Gold Account membership features have been updated! The benefit for a 15% reduction in training cost has been removed, and replaced with a 15% reduction in training time :).

Is there anyone, who really bought a GA because of the lower training cost? I think, you bought the GA for other reasons and took the lower training cost for a bonus. But I think there are users who would buy a GA only for the lower training time. I do.
When it is only one stat point in two or three days, which I get extra from the lower training time, it is worth the GA. Think what this one stat point would cost, when you get it by stat increasers. Training in the training center is soooo cheap, it doesn't matter if it costs 15% more or less. For my pet it is only 40k per training lesson.

Agrees with below comment. I would also prefer a lower price to less time. I can't be online constantly to take advantage of the shorter time. I'm not liking the higher price for training <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_sad.gif" border="0" />

I would prefer the lower price to the less time if there was a choice since I work full time during the week so I'm not online all the time for the faster classes to be useful anyway.

I think I agree with quote a few people above that having a choice between the two would be nice. For those who have their pets at the really high levels; the time off is FANTASTIC. It's great for you guys and it is nice to see that something is being done for you all.
For those of us like myself whose max pet is at lvl 8... it makes no different. I don't make a ton of sp on Subeta and what I do make goes mostly to quests and procuring potions so even being able to save a small amount really makes a difference to me because I'm not an SP farmer, never have been and probably never will.
I probably won't be training my pets anymore, not that there is a point since there is no battle coliseum atm anyway.

I know I commented way back at the beginning somewhere, but because I was not happy with the increase in costs I thought I would see what others thought. I love the idea of you giving us the choice between time and cost - everyone woulkd be happy that way!!! Please think about it guys.....

wow @ the people complaining about the increase in price. You know it's only 1k~5k per pet, you can easily get that just by playing random . <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_confused.gif" border="0" />

Actually, pepsiMAX, you were spending less on the same amount of time. Now you are spending the same amount you normally one, for less time.
I personally like the older way more than this way because I stopped training my pet because of the cost. The amount of time did not bother me one bit. It's all a matter of personal choice, though. Can't please everybody *shrugs*

I don't do training often, but I don't go on subeta often anymore anyway. If I have the time, I'll make use of it.

Like a number of others, I much prefer the cost reduction to the time one, but I can see where some might like this. Could we perhaps be given a choice between the two?

Really? :/ That's a bummer. I'm training all my pets at once until they hit a certain level and I'd personally rather have the price discount. It wasn't the main reason I got the GA by any means, but I do prefer it the other way. *shrugs*
Thank you for giving us a discount at all, though! ^^

I see what you're doing. "Spend more money 15% faster!" Sorry Keith/staff people, but I can't say I care for this change. One of the reasons why I ever got the GA was to cut down on those INSANE training prices. (Not all of us make half a billion a day you know.) :/ Ah well. At least I won't have to buy anymore from now on.

well, that just ensured that I'll probably never use that GA medal that I was hoarding...
I mean, seriously, I can easily stand the time that I have to wait- it has ALWAYS been the cost that I found irritating, personally, though I suppose that I can understand why some people like the time cut.

@Ryan neither. xD To spend more money into training or to be able to train more, I don't really care, because it's just one lesson a day more. I know you can sum it up for all 356 days, but you can do it with the costs, too. ;p And you have to add the difference between the costs every lesson, too, if you understand what I mean. xD And you have to add one full lesson a day, too, so there's a lot more training costs now, but I restock enough.
It would be much nicer to have a higher rate of multiple stats from training. that would be really worth it. But, as said, I don't care because I didn't bought the Medal for the Training Center. :/

Don't have time to play Subeta all day, normally I train my pet and jot off to do work, unless its the weekend so...I'd rather save the points. The reduced time doesn't mean anything to me but saving 100k+ every 33 stats, adds up. (Or with my time it's 100k every 33 or was, rather). I'm not going to gain stats any faster...its basically the same time.
0
Ryan
Honestly guys, think about it With this it'll make people feel as though they're progressing faster with training since they will be. So now it won't take YEARS to get high stats -- well okay it will, but an added session here and there plus the possibilities of bonuses? It'll even out time vs sP wise. Would you rather save 3-4K now or gain stats faster?

At the 60 minutes, it doesn't seem significant, I agree. I have one at that spot. But now 40 minutes off my 270, a couple times a day, that is an extra training session! I can imagine some of the relief for those even longer! And if you are training steadily, that extra 9 minutes will get you several more training sessions than you would have had otherwise. Just don't forget to play Random every hour and a half, and it should cover a lot of the price difference. <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_wink.gif" border="0" />

My training went from 270 to 229. If we were training over ~17 hours, I'd be able to get 3 sessions with the old time, 4 with the new. 31 sessions over a month! 365 over a year! That's 91 more of each stat every year because of a 15% decreased! I'm liking it!

I love this change. I never really noticed the cost reduction to be honest since I always have the GA and never saw the actual price. Now when I go, I see that I get a bonus by the time reduction.
Besides, most of the GA features make us money, I love that we get to train more a day with this. Thank you *goes to play random to make up the sp I spent on training*

I can see where it would benefit those with longer training times.
Personally, I'd rather have the sp discount right now. It's saving me only 27 minutes, but costing me an additional 2K plus at a time when I'm having trouble making sp. (Not good at RSing, connection too slow, and quests are not currently paying off well for me.)
(Even better would be if you could pick which discount you wanted! <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_wink.gif" border="0" /> )

@ Ryan: Ah, 24k aint that bad! C: I was worried when I saw people complaining that I'd be knee deep in training costs when my trained is only at 400 or something. XD
I can make 24k from a wizard quest. I mean, even if the costs get up to a hundred thousand (like HEiRESS a few posts down) I can just go do a few quests. :/

i dunno why anyone would complain about this. it's so easy to make money on subeta and i'd much rather thave less time than a discount, so i can level up faster rather than save sp. i always hated the time increase after a certain amount of stats and this will be reaaaaally helpful in cutting down that boring waiting time <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_heart.gif" border="0" />

I never saw forking over SP for training to be that big of a deal, it's a few thousand I can make from a Wizard Quest or two. Of course, I'm only about to get to the 200 level range, so maybe that opinion will change when he's much higher.
Now this time reduction could really come in handy for those days that I'm on Subeta all day. But if I'm not on all day, I'll still only check Subeta a few times a day, and the time spent doesn't really matter to me then.
So I'm stuck in the middle, probably because I don't have a good idea of how much it costs in both fields for those amazingly high level pets.

I don't know if I like this or not. 9,000 to pay for training? I know it gets higher the more you train, but right now it's already at 9k. *shrug* oh well.... it's like the training is over faster so you can spend more in the day. But then again, training will go by faster because of shorter time limits.
So, I'm not sure if I like this or not.

just a question is there anywhere or does there excists a list to compare ??
i mean a list that says at level 1-10 you pay ......sp and it will take ...... for time to train ???
that would be handy to look at and that way we can calculate ourselfs how much next level will cost and take for time, maybe an idea for in the future ???

LOL, from 225 minutes to 4? I'm not sure that was quite the reduction you had in mind.

Aww, the reduced training cost was the big draw of the gold account for me. I hate paying a fortune to train.

With only 1 minute? <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_shocked.gif" border="0" />

Weezing
It has 1 minutes left! ... Okay, I may have failed rudimentary math... but I'm pretty sure 1 isn't 15%of 90... xD
But yes, this is much better than cost.

Well i don't think it works very well,
My pet is done in only 2 minutes. And normally he is done is 90 minutes.

I think I prefer the cost reduction too. mine only take an hour and a half to train so and it's more likely I won't have enough points than I'll worry about coming back every hour and a half or less to train them. There are other things to do in life beside training pets <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_wink.gif" border="0" />

lol I liked the discount better too, right now I'm totally in my "I HATE TRAINING" phase and every time I get an alert that a pet is out makes me go "<img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/smiley_angryface.gif" border="0" /> why are you out ALREADY"

yesterday
bonecollector time 270 minutes cost 20786
beetlejuice time 90 minutes cost 1976
today bonecollector time 270 minutes cost 24615
beetlejuice time 90 minutes cost 2128
for me it seems we have nothing anymore no time and no money reduction !!
hate the change anyway <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_sad.gif" border="0" />
not much profit of a ga is left, so i have my doubts if its useful to have one anymore, those few extra quests profits are now going to be needed for extra train cost <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_sad.gif" border="0" />

I was looking forward to less training costs... like that it would become even more expensive if we do more classes in shorter time... Then again, nobody can come on at exactly the right time and really make use of that, anyway. Less costs is more logical... Come to think of it, less time doesn't make any sense at all, at least not as long as training takes less than half a day.
No, don't like that.

Training
Time: 60 minutes
Cost: 1080 sP
For my pet, Toy, the time hasn't changed. I started the session a little while after the news post.

my prices have all gone up but none of my times have gone down. it was 90 min before and they still are. Is this a glitch?

Thanks <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_grin.gif" border="0" /> Wish we could have both though <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_raspberry.gif" border="0" /> When will the change begin, because I just tried to put some pets in training and it's still 60 minutes...

Not sure which I prefer, the lower cost was nice but reduced time only helps occasionally since I'm at work all day anyway. Hmm, guess they couldn't give us both. Oh well, will see what happens.

Why can't we have both?? <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/smiley_sadface.gif" border="0" />
Nah, just kidding. I don't train my pets anyway c:

If I understand correctly, this change will be reflected the next time I put my pets in for a new session, yes? Just asking because I had just finished putting them in new sessions right before the news came out.
This is a much better perk for me compared to the reduced price considering the limited time I have to spend on-site.

I like the change <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif" border="0" /> the reduction in sP cost was really small change even for high level pets (I'm amazed to see people actually complaining about it!); a reduction in time on the other hand is really useful. I hate having to wait 4 hours each time to train my strongest pet.
Now I might consider actually activating some of those GA medals I've been hoarding for ages.

Fantastic <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif" border="0" /> The cost never worried me but I was frustrated because training always took too long...

When I put my pet into training this morning the price was marked up but, it still said it would take 60 minutes. There may be a glitch so, I'm going to make a ticket just in case. Personally, I think I liked the cost reduction better but, that remains to be seen.

Aw maaaaaan. :B
Not that I have a GA anymore, or really planned to get another one any time soon, but I liked that discount while it lasted.

While it doesn't really bother me, time is something that everyone has, though not everyone has the sP.
