Good Evening,
It has been nearly a year since the pandemic that threatened the existence of every man, woman, and child on Subeta. I believe today I can say with confidence we have come away from the experience stronger than we were before, and ready to face a future full of uncertainty with dignity and pride.
Though we lost many friends in the events of last year, we have gained new brothers in the Unliving. I feel certain that we can walk beside them as allies into whatever lies in store for our glorious Nation, and indeed, Subeta as a whole.
It is with great honor that I unveil this statue, a symbol of our heartfelt thanks to the scientists that worked so tirelessly to find a cure, and a memorial to those that we lost in one of our darkest hours.
Emma is selling flowers specifically to be placed at the memorial.

The statue looks great, but I really hope the team had chosen another way to get the flowers. I may see a glimpse of them at Seedlings but they are always sold out before I get the offer and security code typed. I suppose I'm not getting all the flower achievements, because I'm not about to spend my hard earned wiz tokens on trying to get them by vending.

Oh yeah. I have the time to do nothing but sit around refreshing a page for three hours trying to get a flower. Restocking sucks. No pixelated image is worth me sitting behind this computer refreshing one freakin page for so long.

Kai_b Besides, the WHOLE EVENT last year was about the zombies. This year, it's about celebrating our survival, celebrating the unliving (WHICH IS CLEARLY STATED IN EARLIER NEWS POSTS AND SUBETAPEDIA ARTICLES), and mourning the trauma of the epidemic. It's a new event. ZOMBIES HAD THE WHOLE EVENT LAST YEAR.
Well, Thats, gonna suck for already seedling rsers....Lucky for me, I rs at the book nook. (I'm half waiting for the reading drive and half hoping they push it back really far.)

Seeing as though there is an achievement for placing 50 flowers, it would be nice to see the flowers floating around the site.
For those that are having issues with the vending machines, try decreasing your click rate on your mouse. My Mom was having a lot of problems for a few days. We lowered her's a couple of notches and she hasn't had any problems since.

If your a zombie and you kiss the statue its a risk you take,no one knows what might happen in the future. For now it gives an achievement and as far as I know does nothing to zombie status.

I don't like that the flowers are restocking in a normal shop. I wish they were either floating around the site, or were being sold like the balloons were during the Island plot. I suck at RSing, and we've only got a couple of weeks to do this. <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_sad.gif" border="0" /> I'm looking forward to see what's going to happen next, though. c:
