The layout is beautiful and dark and the story is well written, but unless I can't see it in my browser there was no pet, minion or treasure. Probably the thing I miss the most is the pet, overlay or no. <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif" border="0" />

The background is pretty and the story is nice but I have to agree with some of the other commentators. The lack of anything actually pet related other than the listing of the species color puts me off.

Guys, I saw a while back the staff address this complaint. They said that the pet doesn't have to meet all 4 criteria, it has to meet 'some' of those 4 criteria. So I hope that clears some questions up for people <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif" border="0" />

While it amazes me people might complain about sex and not the gobs and gobs and gobs of violent pets out there blows. my. mind. I don't get it. Altho......I do agree - it's a story, there is nothing pet related on the profile? I don't want to say it's *just* a story b/c Revel put a lot of work into it................But how is this a PET profile, I wonder?.........

I really like the story, and don't see a problem with the content. But I thought the pet spotlight had to comply with specific criteria.

Boofrickityhoo, this is hardly explicit at all. There's a mention of sex, it's not like it goes into full detail. Does that seriously bother you? There have been pets that won with stories more explicit than this and no one kicked up a storm.

Aside from all the "Issues" over the pet winner tonight, shame on those who feel it necessary to nit pick someones hard work instead of allowing the user to feel good about the win.

I was just curious. Do I care about language or sex? Not really, lol. I've heard a lot back and forth about what is and isn't allowed, but not really seen anything enforced across the board at a set standard. There's no need to jump up and rawr and tell me to go to neopets, btw. Simmer down and don't go shoving your feetsies into your cake-hole so fast.
@Revel Despite the lack of a pet image, the profile's very neat. Maybe eventually an image of the character, human or whatever form you use, would kick it up even more. Grats on your win. <3

Definitely an interesting profile, but I'm not seeing anything "pet" related about this at all. As an RP character profile I think this is pretty cool and original. But this is supposed to be a PET spotlight, to put more emphasis on the pet aspects of the site. It's not a Random RP Character Spotlight.
I think it really takes away the point of a Pet Spotlight if the only thing having to do with Subeta pets on the profile is the tiny name and species and a pet spotlight trophy. This doesn't even have an image of the character, and the story and character likewise have nothing to do with pets or Subeta.

Oy, the need to comment. It does look really good Revel. Enjoy the spotlight in spite of the "issues". Nobody should rain on anyone's parade.
The oy though is for taking images. Just shoot them a mail first. I don't know your circumstances so assume it's all fine and dandy. I just twitched and felt the need to remind that because it's on the Internet it's not okay to take without permission. It kills art as a career.

As for the pg-13, I've used this site as my guideline;

If that is an issue, I'm assuming a mad/ua would let me know? If so then I'll change it as well.

Despite all the other "issues" on this one, I'm curious why a "pet" with a story containing sex and using bad language is worthy of the spot light. Rather goes beyond the "PG13" rating this site claims to enforce, eh? Not sure spotlighting this is a good idea, all things considered.

I'm sort of confused... I don't see the pet on the pet's profile page anywhere...? O.o Yes, it has a nice layout, but for some reason I cannot even see the pet on it. Am I the only one not seeing it?

There are share links for facebook, twitter and other sites too. You can by a print or randomly share the image.

The work has sharing links so using it is no problem. As to whether or not it is credited sounds like digging for issues. Copyrighting basically means that you can't use something to make a profit.
