I don't care that the same user's pet won, but what was it doing in the queue anyway? It shouldn't have been there.
Actually when <a href="/users/thoughtful" rel="thoughtful"><img src="http://images.subeta.net/icons/user.gif" border="0">thoughtful</a>s pet <a href="/redirect.php?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.subeta.net%2Fpets%2FPraxid" target="_blank">Praxid</a> won 11 days after her pet <a href="/redirect.php?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.subeta.net%2Fpets%2FAesa" target="_blank">Aesa</a>, Praxid didn't lose his trophy and no other pet was drawn.
I don't really see the point in complaining considering that these pets were obviously going to win eventually and as far as I'm concerned, the quicker they are out of the queue the quicker different people win! OFC I'm a silver lining kind of girl and <i>some</i> users definitely seem to prefer stormclouds.

:: raises an eyebrow :: - wonders how long it is gunna take before they remove they do a redraw --- that's how @Keith has handled when a pet was pulled before the REQUIRED time period between wins for one person.

Yeah, there is definitely a 2-week waiting period, and Propaganda won on the April 2nd. That's only eight days ago.

RE: the waiting period, I don't think it says it officially on the Pet Spotlight page, but I do recall a pet that was previously recalled because the owner had already won within the week or something like that.
I personally don't think it really matters that much though? I mean in the long run, if this pet was in the winners queue, it was gonna win eventually anyways ... it just so happened to be sooner rather than later!
