New Navigation Update
Hi all! So, if you haven't heard, we've been beta testing the new site navigation for the past couple of weeks. I'd like to thank everyone for the great feedback we've gotten!
We're now making the new navigation the default for all Subeta users. This is the final step before we switch completely to the new version. Even if it feels unfamiliar, please give it a try - the overwhelming response we've received is that the new nav setup is much easier and faster to use than before! If you really want to switch back to the old nav, you can do so in your Site Preferences.
If you haven't tried it before now, you'll also notice the "+" sign to the right of your page. That's for our bookmarks - go ahead and add a few! You can manage them in your Bookmarks Preferences.

Umm, am I stupid? xD I can't find the 'search' options that used to be under 'home' I think...
LOL i didn't even realize it until it was mentioned. xD all Ive been doing lately is interest though.. :C

The "subeta"hover tab thing doesnt fit into the line of other navigation ._. It juts out lol. -switches to old-
I'm glad we have the option to change to the old navigation. I was using it as a beta tester and was getting to used to it, but glad we have the option.
My bad...just noticed the Bookmark Preferences (egg on face) <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_grin.gif" border="0" />
So far , so good...except how the heck do you delete a bookmark if you change your mind after adding it???
I'm using it and I hate it to be honest. It's more confusing and it freezes up my computer when I try to use it. I have to go to google to find the places I want on here.
damn it! Now i gotta redo all my buttons for my custom css. :/ But aside from that, i kinda like the logic of it. But i gotsta redo mah buttons. wah.
Wait, what? I would've thought some changes would have been put into effect before releasing it to the general public. :/ I guess the staff don't mind hearing the same complaints over and over and over?

Mkay after testing, the only complaint I have on it is its incredible lag ._. switches back till thats fixed
Well if we have to use it one day or another...eh, I'm just glad it didnt screw up my Custom CSS. The visuals of it will slowly embed themselves into my little brain e-e
sigh Switching back for now I'm afraid. I tried, I honestly did but the only way I've been able to get around recently was by seriously overusing the bookmarks. Long term I guess we'll have to see but I'm not sure it'll ever feel as intuitive as the old system.
I lovelovelove it. And I love the bookmarks , too.

I LOVE the new navigation bar... It's way easier than the old one... Thanks subeta..(hmmm.. Keith).

Truthfully I really like the new navigation, however it makes subeta lag like hell for me :/ Kinda sad to hear I'm going to have to use it sooner than later.
There one thing I don't like about the new navigation, and what ultimately made me turn away from it altogether. I don't like the soft look of the words on the drop down menus--the subeta, interact, commerce, etc. It looks like what I had to deal with when Internet Explorer implemented ClearType (up until I found out how to disable it, since it also affected YIM. I don't use IE anymore, but mentioned it for the example), which seemingly blurs the edges of the letters to give it that softer look... it makes it difficult for my eyes to focus on.
Everyone is probably going to tell me to suck it up and deal with it, but I wasn't sure where else to find a feedback thread to post it, and at least wanted to put this out there somehow even if everyone else thinks I'm crazy. =/ I've not tested any aspect of the new navigation otherwise. I would just switch back to the old one, but I think it pointless to do so since this will be implemented in full eventually anyway.

The new nav seems cool so far. I like it better then the old one. Much more neat. I love the bookmark thing too, as its really useful.
It was a little hard for me to get used to, but after a bit, I truly love the new nav. It's SO much easier to get around. I used to have a separate bookmark bar just for subeta, I don't need it anymore with all the tabs at the side. Once again, thanks so much for the new system.

Anway, LOVE LOVE LOVE the idea of bookmarks. Especially for those places you can only get to via the Explore section (like the Old Wizard &etc.)

I love the new version! I was using the beta already, but I'm glad you let the people change to last version if they don't like the new one ^^

Hmmm very interesting. It's quite helpful C: I keep forgetting all the forums I visited and planned to reply on, so this whole bookmarking thing works better than pen and paper XD
It makes images jump all over the screen and it drives me crazy. Including the images for the nav bar itself. I wish it didn't, I really like it better than the other version. I love the bookmarks. But I go nuts when images jump around :/
love the new organization, but i noticed the bookmark thing is screwing up the page more often than not. it makes it load a lot slower and even screws up the coding.
I have always loved the new navigation and won't change! Thanks for all the hard work the staff has put into making the site so user friendly<3

I have been using it since I found out about it and I love it. It took me a while to get used to, but except for that, I absolutely love it.
I like everything about this new layout except for the tab colors on the right side. With Arctic Frost layout they're too light to read, the colors need to be adjusted there. Otherwise it's great.
AliciaI actually like it a lot - the tabs up top are pretty much quick links for everything - and the book marks is seriously so convenient (here's a tip: Put the token shop on your book marks)
Don't think I'll be using the bookmarks because it makes each page load wonky for me. But I love, love, love how the tabs at the top of the screen have been redone. Especially the little subtabs for things like pets and shops where you can pick which one you want to go to.
