The pitcher does do something. It gets you an achievement when you fill it up and thus make it a Glade Potion.

While Im thrilled for more potions to come out, it would be nice to have some of the other items restock again. This is the second or third potion restock in as many months, but we havent had a massive TS restock in a very very long time...
