Behold--the Pantheon Potion!
With pet-altering effects the likes of which the world has never seen, the Pantheon Potion is so absolutely astounding that you have to see the results for yourself to believe them.
Instead of making you toil away working out the proper ingredients, Ian has generously donated his entire collection of valuable Pantheon Potions to the Millionaire Center for a limited time.
If you can pay the price...your pet can shed its inferior mortal shell for something more befitting a proper being of ultimate power!
IMPORTANT NOTICE: For some reason, the Millionaire Center seems to be glitched. We are working on this issue; in the meantime, if you want to buy a potion anyway, we gueeeeess there's nothing we can do to stop you if you can afford the ridiculous price. :(

Restocking Time!
I've been hired to well... clean up all the shops in Subeta. I mean, really?! They're hideous. Poorly made monstrosities laying around. Can you imagine wearing something that is less than 50,000sP?! Good. Because I'm going to burn it.
Subeta will be going down at 11PM for planned downtime. It will take one hour or less :)

Sebastian Phoenix has been tinkering away all weekend on a plan to raise the User Shop Limit to 50,000,000sP per item. He worked very hard, and the Subeta Senate passed it without any problem, as long as it continues to benefit the economy.
For those of you will run around screaming like you've just had your heads chopped off that this will ruin the trades. The trades are for trading. As in, items. For items. And other items. And maybe sometimes.. more items.

We have had a small security problem tonight, and suggest that you change your password. If a friend is acting strange or unlike themselves, please report it to a User Admin.
Styles have been disabled until we solve this issue :)!
Notice: This is not a Subeta issue, but an issue with Firefox. They are supporting a CSS tag that allows cookie grabbing (not what it's supposed to do, of course, but abused it can). :(! There is very little we can do to prevent issues like this. Regardless, if you use FIREFOX, changing your password is a VERY GOOD idea. :heart:
Update: We have updated various areas of the site to stop this exploit from being possible. However, if you are using Firefox and have browsed Subeta in the past day, it's still a good idea to change your password. I'd also like to note, that this is not an excuse to go running back to Internet Explorer, which has just as many (if not more) exploits and possible problems :)

As mysterious as they are elegant, these new sets may bring you just a little bit closer to nature and the spirits of the wilds--or perhaps a little closer to the fire and glory of the sun. Some people still seem confused about the Mysterious Costume Trunk found in the Cash Shop - So I'm going to clear things up.
When you purchase the Mysterious Costume Trunk, and use it in your inventory, you get to choose which costume you'd like to have. That costume's trunk will appear in your inventory.
Using that trunk (the new Trunk of the Elven Kingdoms for example) will give you the choice of Male or Female.
You get all of the items in the set that you choose. So for example, if you open the male Trunk of the Elven Kingdoms you are given 9 items! (For just one trunk!)
Hopefully that clears some things up, since people get confused if they just get one item, if they get to choose, etc. :)

AOL and Netscape Users!
Incase you are unaware, AOL has ended support for it's Netscape browser. That means no more content or security updates. The developers of AOL/Netscape have suggested using Flock which is based on the FireFox browser.
If you use Netscape or AOL, you should have an update that allows you to upgrade directly to Flock.
Again - we are no longer supporting either AOL or Netscape on Subeta, or the rewrite. :)

Cash Shop Poll
We are considering changing the system that operates the Cash Shop. This means implementing a 'point' based system.
Point Based System
The point based system would operate on $1 USD = 100 Cash Shop Points. This means that instead of purchasing the items directly, you'd purchase 'points', and then go to the cash shop and purchase items with your points.
This adds another step - but there are a few reasons I think that you will like it better ;)
Pros
- You can save up points. If you're only able to spend $5 a month on Subeta, but want something that has a price tag of $30, you can save up your monthly points until you have 3,000 points.
- More selection. We can add items for 100 points, or even as low as 50 points. We could add a set of clothing that would otherwise not be able to be added; for 100 points each, and you'd be able to get them.
Cons
- Another step. You have to buy the points and THEN buy the item that you'd like.
- We have to set a minimum point limit.

Avatar Update
We have removed the 64x64 from the site (including the news) and have replaced them with Headshots of your Human Avatar.
If you've noticed, the site is moving considerably faster, because instead of having to save and load (And query the database for) both versions of the avatars, we only have to do this for one :)
Let me explain this, in a technical way. As best as I can - to answer the questions that have been posted up to this point.
The avatars were located in one folder, that was over 13GB in size when it was just removed. That means that each time an avatar was displayed on the site (the 64x64 one) it had to search that directory for the right image (which caused crashing in NFS) as well as query the user database, for information on which avatar was the users.
With the HA only version, it queries from the HA image folders (which are separated) and there are no MySQL queries, as the information is already cached for each user.
That means that we're saving 13GB worth of file searching, and a database query to the most important table in the database, for each avatar load.

On another note, the V1 profiles have been removed as an option on the preferences page. We announced months ago that we were ending support - and it has now been removed. If you have a V1 profile, we suggest you update :)
