Welcome to the Zentu!
We'd like to invite you to The Bathhouse of Shengui Guo, which is the only place you'll be able to adopt a brand new zentu of your own! Ying, the Bathhouse Proprietor, has been readying the building for your arrival - and although she's currently only opening up the Zentu Baths to you, she promises more rooms in the future. Very soon you'll be able to change your existing pets into zentus and collect zentu-themed items and learn about zentu lore - but for now, a great welcome to our newest pet!
Be aware that zentus are grandiose creatures. They require the utmost respect and honor to become loyal to you. To bring one home, you'll have to bestow some beautiful jewelry upon it! Something that... glitters.
Also, you may have noticed there are two zentus at the top of this post. That's because zentus are very much connected to the night and day, and their common color will be different depending upon what time they were created in Shengui Guo. Will you adopt one now, or wait for the changing light?

I'm really interested to know how the common potion is going to affect them. Like if I get one at night time then change it to a marsh then decide to change it back to common, am I going to get the purple or pink common zentu? Is it going to go back to the way I originally adopted it or is that also dependent on the time of day that I use the common potion on it?

Wow! Those are lovely! I'm glad they aren't all cutesy. Some pets are just a bit too cutesy and I'm glad these did not end up that way. I wish I could get one, but pet slots....*sigh* Those aren't gonna get cheaper are they? Or not cost RL money when the 15 you can buy with points run out? Please? I guess I'll just admire them, and most of the other pets, from afar :( But kudos to the artist. I love how soft and blended the colors are and each one has such depth to it. Really a gorgeous pet.

I really adore the emphasis on the day/night common color for the Zentu. And of course I'm going to have to start hoarding sP for a pet slot now; seeing as I am in awe and total love of the newest pet member of the site. - I LOVE the Spirited Away references in the bathhouse. The art is stunning, and this is a fun new way to adopt a pet. Much more amusing than just using a potion or the traditional create-a-pet (neither of which is not bad, it is just nice to have something different).
- I LOVE the pet itself. The detail on this pet is so amazing! The site art is definitely improving leaps and bounds!
- I LOVE the two common colors. I think that is super neat and a great way to tie into the new way of adoption. Though, I have to ask... did the idea of two common colors come first? Or did you guys just have such a hard time picking which color palette you liked, so you went with both? Not that it matters, but I love both palettes, and I know that I am going to have a hard time picking which color to make my future Zentu!

I'm sorry, it's rare I comment on pet introductory posts, but the art and the story on how to adopt one (as well as the area) is just beautifully drawn and gives a very distinct Miyazaki-esque theme to the whole idea. Huh. It didn't work in Chrome at work (which has super crazypants firewalls and I don't even know what going on) but the second I got off the network and just tried from Chrome on my home connection, it worked. So thanks for all your effort, and I'm going to chalk it up to work being stupid. c:

If we use an elixir to make a Zentu (not common) and later we potion the pet to be a common Zentu, will the time of the potioning determine the color of common we get, or is it set with the time of day the pet was originally created?

Both show up on that page and the text there says that if there is an offering below to click on it, so I would assume if it shouldn't work then it wouldn't show up below. Clicking the item does nothing but reload the page. No "Sorry this isn't good enough!" text or error.
I do have open pet slots.

wow! it's much nice than i expected :O so pretty! kinda want one! and i love the idea of it having a different colour depending on when you adopt it! it would be kinda cool if that happened for all the colours. like if you changed it to dusk it had slightly different colouring depending on it's original adoption time :3
