I love this story! It's so heartwarming. I then went to read about Tomodachi, and about lost it. I lost two cats, Precious and Baby, in the past year, and my cat, Sweetie, is probably at the end right now. She's looking sickly and weak based on what my parents say. They are in Chicago, I am in Texas, so all I will have to remember MY cat with is a clump of her fur my Dad will send to me. It is so, so sad to lose beloved friends, but I am so happy that you have a kitty that is so loving! <3

This pet is adorable and so are you for making it!
Ive rescued several animals but the ones that are most recent are two ferrets. One from an ex best friend's family who i got back into good health before adopting out to a good friend who wanted a third ferret. I have since gotten regular updates and pictures of that ol stinky slinky and it warms my heart to personally see thru a great adoption.
The second was another ferret who the owners thought was a girl. He weighed as much as a female when i rescued him and it wasnt until i was giving him a proper physical i discovered he was a boy! He has since put back on twice his weight where he should be and recently had to have two dead teeth removed (prominent top left canine and the tooth behind it); my cleaning only did so much. He is now a happy, bouncy, dooking old man.
I also adopted my other two ferrets and my now very old cat.

Omg love love LOVE love love!!! Perfect concept for a subeta pet, adorable profile and such an important message! All of my animals have been adoptees, and i appreciate anything that encourages people to consider a shelter/rescue pet. Thank you for spreading awareness and congrats on the spotlight win.

Congrats! our oldest cat is a rescue - he was a tinny kitten fitting in my palm and FULL of fleas when i found him. i can't believe it's been 8 years.
Our crow was a fledgling that fell from the nest or something, but im not sure where his nest was, so i couldn't put him back. he was also ill because he seemed to have stayed in the rain the whole day with no food :( so we took him in, and we fell in love with him and now 4 years later we try to make him as happy as we can.
The younger cat was just fine. we just took him as play mate for the older cat. there's 1 year of difference between them.
i didn't buy my pets, but they sure are a big responsibility.

Adoption is adorable! I got a rescue pup last year and I've always had rescue cats. I love it :two_hearts:

This is so cute and sweet! My spouse and I have 2 cats, one that we adopted from a shelter who was previously a stray and another that we found as a stray! They're both wonderful cats and I have no idea what I'd do without them.
