I don't think it needs reiterated about how amazing this story is. I don't want to say that this type of thing is beautiful, but this pet is <3 Wonderful job and thank you for still being here and sharing this.

Congratulations on your spotlight win.

Thank you for sharing your story, I know it's not easy. I'm really glad those two crossed paths with you. I'm so glad you're still here, so glad you're spreading the message that everyone deserves Help. :') Depression tries to silence us and tell us we're not worth it. It's always nice to have these kinds of things break the silence and help us reach out to one another. Congratulations on your win for such a beautiful pet.

I can't stop crying! You are such an incredible survivor, your story touched my heart. I know what it's like to be on the brink of your own death, feeling you're out of control, but caring less and less about it, hoping that somehow, the pain will end itself. That couple were your guardian angels. I am so happy you're still here today, surviving, flourishing.

Is it too much to say I'm proud of you, despite not knowing you at all? In any case, I am, and I just want to give you a huge hug. I'm in tears; you're an inspiration and no doubt a fellow lifesaver. Congrats on the well-damned-deserved win, and most of all, congratulations for finding the light again.

I am so happy for you. Much love <3 <3 <3 You have touched the hearts of so many... Bless you!

Congrats on your win - for both the spotlight and more importantly your life. This hit close to home for me. A long time ago my cat saved my life twice. And I found out that just by talking to someone later I saved their life. Wether that was true or an exaggeration I don't know, but it made a difference. I started paying attention to what someone said and how they said it. I was on suicide watch several times after that, just keeping them online and talking to me, until the crisis passed.

Wow... I'm actually crying right now because I identify with this so much. A man once saw me looking over the side of a bridge (that I still can't stand to be near because it's a major trigger) and I could've just been looking at the river.... but he knew I was trying to get the courage up to jump. He asked if I was okay. I said yeah, but I was unconvincing. He left, but shortly after a police car stopped and they asked if I was okay and they got me into the car (kindly) and took me to the hospital. I don't know if I would've been able to jump but I was at the lowest point in my life and that man saw that and got help for me.

I definitely encourage anyone who needs help to reach out to someone or contact someone at the links on that petpage. Or, just google for a suicide helpline for your country/state/province/territory/etc. Please get help. There's nothing shameful about it. Those helplines are there because people want to help you.

What a beautiful way to honor your humanity (and that of all of us), remind people they aren’t alone and quite possibly help someone else. This really touched my heart. Thank you. <3
