A week after the Krypts exploration began,
OnceUponaThyme accidentally found the secret chamber of the Krypts!There was no living being in sight.
OnceUponaThyme looked around, and made their way to the chest in the center. For some reason, it was unlocked, as if they were destined to find it.As soon as the artifact was removed from the chest, the room crumbled and a door appeared in the southern end of the chamber.
OnceUponaThyme safely made it out.Blake Steele retrieved the gauntlets and gazed at them in confusion.
"These are what can kill Advarsel?" Blake asked Colonel Awesome. "THESE?"
"Why so surprised?" the Colonel replied. "What strikes these as odd though, is that, they don't... look like each other..."
"The prophecy!
In the heart of this maze, a treasure lies
To bring an end to evil, no matter the size.
But the forces of chaos and justice must unite
With their opposing ideas, they'll be given power,
To save time from its darkest hour,
And put an end to an apocalyptic fight.
The Gauntlets of Justice and Chaos!"
"So, what are we supposed to do with them?" Colonel Awesome asked.
"I don't know... Jack might have an idea... but..." Blake said.
"Forget about him now," Colonel Awesome said callously.
Blake moved the gauntlets around and something caught Colonel Awesome's eye. "...There's this weird print on it."
And there was. Blake looked inside the gauntlets to read an inscription of Mortaic. He nodded.
"It's Mortaic, the same scripture that's all over the Krypts."
"So what does it say?"
"It's not really a song this time... it's just instructions... Two opposing forces must wear each gauntlet. The bearer of the Right Hand of Justice and the Left Hand of Chaos must stand together and take down the evil that surrounds us all. Using these takes its toll though... at the expense of the planet. All deities fear the gauntlets, which was why they were locked away."
"So who's the Right Hand of Justice and the Left Hand of Chaos?" Colonel Awesome asked, taking the Justice Gauntlet from Blake. He placed it onto his right hand, and both he and the gauntlet began to glow. "What the heck? There's this strange energy flowing through me! GET IT OFF!"
"It can't be!" Blake replied. "You're the Right Hand of Justice!"
"Then, who's the Left Hand of Chaos?" Colonel Awesome wondered while trying to remove the glove. "STUPID THING WON'T GET OFF!"
"I think I have a good idea who..." Blake thought.
A moment's silence came to a halt when both of them spoke to each other.
"IT'S-"
