It's pretty awesome, I have to admit. I mean, wow, the shading and coloring is amazing.
But I really liked the old one better because it had that aura of cute but evil kind of thing. I mean no offense to the artist, but I miss my Kin.

I like the old better...Im sad that now Im going to have to code my lookup with that code that covers the pets actual picture so I can show the old one on my lookup. (this is no offence to any artist of anyone it looks great as far as cleanup and shading but the face and head just isn't sitting right with me and I just don't really like the tweak on the pose)

Two things to note that seem to be the big deal here:
The new one probably only looks "tiny" because you're all comparing it to the old one, and the old one was very long in the body (anthropomorphically long, it had a human-like torso instead of an animal one). Proportionally, and to the size of the canvas, it's not tiny at all.
Secondly, the black around it's eyes. Note, the black part seems to extend from the keetos eye to it's "eyebrows". With this revamp, since the Keeto is scowling, it's eyebrows are lowered, thereby hiding the black above the eye. It's there. It's just hidden. :3

This revamp is amazing. I know there are a lot of people disagreeing with that general sentiment, but holy cow, this is hands down one of my favorite revamps. The old one bothered me on so many levels.

The shading and art in general has improved, but I liked the old one more. Not that this isn't good, but I like it facing the other way just because it's more reminiscent of the old one and I don't see why there was a need to flip it since the pose wasn't even that drastically changed. It also seems like each time a new keeto is drawn, less of the black around its eyes show and that's what a lot of people like about keetos. I also miss how the old keeto has a bit of a more angular face. The new one is a bit too rounded and chubby like. And I liked how the old one was skinny with scraggly fur and was generally more zombie like. It was also less gorey yet somehow more dead looking. The old one's expression and emotion also ran throughout the whole pose with the kind of irritated backwards glance whereas this one just generally looks angry. The front paw also bothers me, it looks broken, the bend is just so sharp and I can't figure out which why the toes are facing. I also liked the big glow the old one had. And somehow, this pet is sooo tiny looking. So all in all, it's not that I don't like this one or that I think the art isn't good, I just would have liked to see an updated version of the old one. And I'm not just one of those people that complain about pets they don't even have, I actually had the potion, elixir, name and story already to go for my pet.
And one last quick thing, I think all revamps should have a poll, not only for the whole species, but each colour like this as well if it's not just a quick update. Because when the keeto species was updated, it got a poll and some people didn't even notice the difference at first. Whereas now, big changes are happening to individual colours yet we have no say. Yes, we can comment, but only things that are officially polled ever get tweaked.

Honestly, my only problem with this is, the glow needs to be thicker and the eyes, idk. At least make the rims darker. EYELINER IF YOU NEED TO. lol. Otherwise? AMAZING.♥

I didn't find the old one to fit into Subeta's current pet styles, and I adore the artists choice to make the pose more feline along with an added look of distaste for all owners in it's eye-crinkle. Love this reincarnation! Kudos!

I'm not gonna change my GY keeto's color, but I still much prefer the old one. One or two people have said they like the new pose better, but I like how the old one looked different and sort of unnatural perched on its hind legs.

After giving it some time, i'd say this redraw is definitely growing on me, although there are still a few things i'm not all too fond of...<p />

Aww no I like the old one better ;___; The new one's tailbone looks really weird, it doesn't have the black around it's eyes and its paw looks like it is backwards. It's also lost that really bold look it had because it seems really small and doesn't have that humungo aurora. Then again the shading is much much better, along with the art in general.

If some of you don't like it because of some deep personal reason regarding you pet's design, you can always get a custom overlay. I like the new look. Can't say as I've ever had the old but, but comparing the two images...I think they succeeded in a decent transfer of mood while correcting and refining details to match the newer style of art. I've seen a few comments that the old looked mystical instead of angry, but...if you look at the old it appears to have narrowed eyes and a crinkled nose. The new is much more proportional too. x3 Thumbs up from me, but this is merely my opinion.

It's a very nice revamp and the Keeto still looks grouchy but...It's just not as bad-ass as the old one. The old version looked grouchy, but also kind of condescending. This one is just plain grouchy. It's a very good piece of art, nicely redone...but the expression just isn't quite the same...

I'm so dissapointed- I LOVED the old GY keeto. Now i'll have to change Illusion, because the new art doesn't appeal to my taste. Its so small, and it look angry- the old one looked more mysterious than angry. I'm just not happy at all with the revamp.

its more detailed and not as chibish as far as anatomy goes in comparison to the other keetos, i do agree that the old one, the pose was kinda wrong because it wasn't a biped. But I can see how others may prefer the older version, because it was bolder and stood out more. Er.. really? I can hardly tell the difference, actually. The colors are a bit more saturated and the anatomy is a bit better, but nothing more than that. The pose is exactly the same, the colors are pretty much the same, just cleaner...

Er.. really? I can hardly tell the difference, actually. The colors are a bit more saturated and the anatomy is a bit better, but nothing more than that. The pose is exactly the same, the colors are pretty much the same, just cleaner...

Excellent art and very nice colors, great job on this revamp! Nukenai, I owned one of the old 'ugly' graveyard keetos and I don't think it was ugly, I loved it, especially the lime green aura and eyes! Yes, it was my favourite pet of all!
I liked how my Yurai looked annoyed but not really angry. I knew that the graveyard keeto would get a revamp and I see that it's good art, but it's just not the same character anymore.
I even put both versions next to another to see what has been changed that makes it so different.

Also, I feel like the complainers honestly don't even appreciate what the artists are doing for us. They're updating the out-of-date art to keep our site looking new and beautiful. I love this very much. I have a huge fondness for Keetos and found the old Graveyard one to just be.. ugly and not Keeto-ish at all. Like the old Angelic one. People are complaining that the Angelic revamp, and this one, HAVE RUINED THEIR LIVES FOREVER. I had my angelic when they got revamped and honestly, the new one is worlds and worlds better than the old. It took a little getting used to but damn, she's really beautiful.

the new and old one do look quite different, but I have to say I really enjoy the new one more. I looks much more like a keeto and has better anatomy/shading. I really enjoy the new look on it's face as well. I knew as soon as i saw this revamp there was going to be a lot of disappointment, but the change has been done and the staff isn't going to change it back. It DOES go with the other revamped pets and while people my think that it looked fine, it seems like the staff didn't. I'm sure other members will be happy to give an overlay code if you want one for your pet page. That way those that like the older one can still have that image on their page and it won't ruin the character of your pet <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif" border="0" />

This one at least has more bone showing, more cuts, and looks quadruped. Sure, it could be a bit more GY-esque, but I don't think it is near as bad as the old one.

It's definitely an update of the art and I like it (especially the shading is AWESOME) however unfortunately I cannot say that I'm sad about the fact that I changed my GY Keeto just a few days ago. The new image is way too small on my laptop monitor (that already made me give up my Glacier Lain in the past) and the in my opinion more aggressive face wouldn't suit the character of Viracocha anymore.

One of the best Keeto revamps, hands down. o__o The shading is GORGEOUS, especially on the tail and the two legs facing us, and the colors look wonderful together. I really, really love those ears. ♥ I'm so glad the GY Keeto didn't become too gory in its redraw - it's *perfect*. .o.

When I first made my Graveyard pet a long time ago I spent forever choosing between the Graveyard ones to fit his character. Whilst it may have needed an update and the art is improved, it just lost all character for me. I much prefer the older version, this one seems so small and lost a bit of his cheeky charm.

Wow, I really like this update! I had never quite liked the old one since its leg looked so hard like a stump pegleg. This one I really like though. It looks likeit can move more and the quality is awesome. I especially love the tailbone for some reason, lol. I really dislike the face though, because it seems different than the other pets and kinda...humany? Compared to the humans on this site. Also the face lacks the keeto blackness, and...well...just doesn't look very pettish.
Overall though, I adore this new keeto, its beautiful. <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif" border="0" /> And makes me want one.

If every time a pet was redrawn there was a poll about it, we'd be flooded with polls and the artists would constantly have to tweak things. It'd be nice if at least the majority of the pet's owners could be satisfied with their pet's appearance, though. If it bothers you much, just edit your pet's overlay image so it shows the old one on their profile. <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_grin.gif" border="0" /> It won't change the image anywhere else on the site, though.

For those of you concerned, the pet hasn't lost it's eye marking. However, with the menacing glare it didn't make sense to still show much of it. (Ladies, how much of <i>your</i> eyeliner shows if you pull that face?)

I'm sort of having mixed feelings on this one. Yes, the pose is essentially the same, but the old Keeto seemed more hunched over, which gave it a different sort of personality. To me the old one always looked like it had just come back to life and looked really irritated about it. XD The art's definitely improved, though. No more basic shading, hooray <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_grin.gif" border="0" /> But like some of the other redraws it just lacks the same attitude the old pet had. Even with that expression I'm not getting any emotion from the pose. :/

Nevermind, I took a look at the old picture, and this is heartbreaking. ._. The pose, the feeling of the last one was just so much... more intense? And the art wasn't even that dated, in my opinion! I'm sorry to the artist, and I appreciate the redraw, but I really want the old one back.

Firstly I do want to say that it's great as far as art goes.
And it does have absolutely wonderful shading.
Over all its a very VERY nice piece of artwork.
But...
And you knew this was coming.. I liked the old one better.
Why did I like the old one better?
The bigger more solid aura, the darker rim lined eye, and the odd UNIQUE taunting pose.
Also the way his scruff looked like messed up battle dress feathers around his head.
All the things that made it stand out above ALL of the rest to me have been muted and down played.
Now he blends in to be overlooked.
He also looks squint eyed, and his facial expression and pose of superiority and hidden mystery is gone...
And it does have absolutely wonderful shading.

It's nice art, but I loved Jezirae the way she was. ;n; The feeling isn't the same, but I wouldn't go so far as to repaint, it's too crucial to my storyline.

This one is great, but I'd liked the pose and the face of the old one much more. I was thinking about get one of those, but I knew the day would come when someone redraw this pet, and I knew I wouldn't like the new version as much as I loved the old one...

Uhm... I don't know if I like it or not, the graveyard keeto was the sole reason why I joined Subeta, the other one's art was really old, but still I liked it alot more, the face on this one is... strange, I don't know how to explain, it could have been better just to redraw the other one.
