"Goodbye, Bebop!" Jace smiled and waved at the bird while she was hastily dragging her jacket on. She was late, as always.
"Tweet Tweet!" the bird chirped back, but she soon realized it was only to the empty apartment, Jace had already left. Ugh, did she? Bebop looked around, the bed and the armchair full of unfolded clothes, the dishwasher full of dirty plates, the table full of papers...and her bowl empty. Full of air, if you wish, but it still didn't make her any less hungry.
"Darn!" Jace almost ripped the door out of the frame and ran to the kitchen to get that so familiar box out of the cabinet. Chanting "Sorry!" a hundred times she quickly filled up Bebop's feeder. "I almost forgot to feed you, didn't I? Forgive me, Bebop, I'm not myself today." After quickly petting the bird's head one last time, she rushed back out. Truth to be told she was herself today, she's always been frivolous, Bebop wasn't the least bit surprised Jace forgot something. Not that she could have been mad at her for at least a second, she loved her owner dearly and was grateful every day.
"Owner --" Bebop let a small happy sight out, sometimes she still couldn't believe she was living in a comfy, warm house now with her very own perch, swing, toys and pillows and of course a cage. But ever since the first night she spent there she had only been put in there if Jace took her somewhere, like that vacation last month. For an average bird maybe that wasn't so surprising, but it had only been for months that Bebop could call a place home, at least one she could remember. "Last November --" she was thinking, yes that's when Jace took her in. Bebop heard all kind of stories of starving, hurt birds freezing out in the cold, but her case wasn't like that at all. Jace found her wandering in a park, she was well fed, neat and healthy, except for two minor details: she couldn't fly and couldn't remember anything about how she got there. In the first weeks Jace was trying to dig up her old owner at all costs, a beautiful and well-kept bird like her couldn't have been just thrown out, but no avail. Bebop had been trying to remember back, but it was like someone cut the film of her life and she had to re-shoot everything now. Not that she minded, living with a girl like Jace was an adventure every day. The vet lady Jace took her numerous times to make sure she was healthy, why wouldn't she - Bebop never understood, said she probably went through a shock, lost her ability to fly and her memories, and in the state of confusion wandered off. But how far could she go? And why wasn't anyone looking for her? That was someone else's concern, not hers; she enjoyed her life and wouldn't give it up for anything.
"Be-ba-be-ba-bop-bop." Ah, familiar sound; so Jace also left her cell phone home and someone was trying to get a hold of her. This girl would lose her head if it wasn't attached to her body. Bebop was happy someone was really desperate to ring Jace endlessly, "Ba-ba-bep-ba-bop," Bebop hummed along with the song while eating up the last seeds from her bowl. She felt pride every time she heard the music going off, after all Jace named her after this song and used it as her ring tone to remind herself of her beloved bird during the day. Of course for that she'd need to bring her phone with herself, not leave it on the nightstand every second day. "Ba-bee--" - it got cut off, the mysterious caller gave up just when the song reached its end. "Perfect!" thought Bebop, a full stomach and a lovely tune to bring her mood up, this was the perfect day to finish those dance steps she'd been practicing for Jace's birthday.

I think you're mixing up things a little bit here, but if that's your wish...

Obviously my most beloved. I mean not him, the real thing.
