Many are familiar the old adage "one man's trash is another man's treasure". However, could one really call an object of space trash? Well, that's what many thought of Regor's collection.
"Look at this cool meteoroid I found!" Regor exclaimed while he excitedly floated over to a group of popokos hanging out at the Ikumoradeekanox. Regor spent a good part of the morning scouring the galactic sky above to add more items to his collection.
"Oh, Regor, why do you insist on collecting that junk? It's just a rock," a dusk popoko scoffed at him while glaring at the jar Regor held within his paws. Most popokos spent their time gathering berries at the tree or finding other food items at Pina Park. Regor, however, preferred to gather treasure originating far above Atebus.
“C'mon! It's more than that! It's a piece of space!†Regor gleefully answered. The other popokos looked at him with disinterest. What was so impressive about a space rock?
“Whatever, Regor, have fun collecting your space trash,†the dusk popoko responded while continuing to scrounge for berries around the Ikumoradeekanox. Regor just laughed and floated back to his house.
Ever since he was young, Regor always loved anything to do with space. He would spend hours peering into the starry night sky through a telescope to view constellations, dreaming of one day seeing the stars up close. After becoming blessed galactic, Regor spent most of his day floating above the world and exploring the vastness of space. He would harvest bits of meteoroids, moon rocks, star dust, or any type of celestial object he could find to store in jars and admire within his house.
His hobby had a dual purpose, though. Whenever meteorites would fall to Subeta Regor would collect the rocks to aid scientists in research. Often, he would be able to keep pieces of findings. Regor could easily spend hours eagerly searching Subeta for the fallen debris from Centropolis to the Sacred Lands.
Other popokos thought Regor was weird for his fascination with "space trash", but he didn't care. If anything, he enjoyed being different. There was beauty to be found in the mundane, and nothing gave Regor more joy than holding pieces of the universe within his paws.
