"Today I had my sixth birthday, it was the coolest pool party ever! It had the same ocean theme as my room. My mom and dad got me a fish, my very first pet! I really wanted a shark but that's okay, it kinda looks like one. My dad told me that in German shark is haifisch. That would be a pretty awesome name for my fish!," Andy's NotebookThat night Andy had a dream he woke up to an empty fishbowl by his bed! The feeling of being watch came over him as he looked around the room. He was sure it was just a dream or at least that's what his mother would say.The next morning Andy found Haifisch happily swimming around the fake plants in her bowl. If that dream last night was real there is no way she would be there or in such a cheery. Later, at dinner that day Andy started to get a strange and eerie feeling. It was that same feeling he had in his dream, the feeling of being watched by something. He was not dreaming though, Andy had not even gotten ready for bed yet! The little boy looked around the room following the hints of the creepy feeling he had. His stomach dropped when he looked up at the dinning room vent. His eyes met a big black, smokey eye dark as the night it was like looking down a deep tunnel or well. What was this smokey monster? If it ate his fish last night it must have spit her out before he woke in the morning. That was not important, he needed to catch it! Andy stayed up all night thinking of ways to stop the monster from eating his fish and possibly him."It's hard catching smoke, like trying to grab a cloud. My friend Matt said you can't catch a cloud but you can put air in a jar. Maybe I can catch the smoke monster with a jar!," Andy's NotebookDay three after getting his fish and tonight he would save her from the monster. That night he left dinner early to hide in wait for the shadow creature. He could feel it follow him as he walked to his room. Andy swore he could see a smokey, black shark fin swimming behind him through the floor boards. He turned the corner to his bedroom, there is a vent there in the floor. The perfect place to hide in wait with his jar ready. Sure enough it followed him right to that corner and started coming through the vent.Andy quickly put the jar on top of it then lidded container once the monster was inside. As he looked at the creature in the jar he thought it was smaller than he imagined. Suddenly, the smokey monster started to wiggle about then sneezed! The smoke cleared and was in fact dust from the vent system. Haifisch was the monster, she had been following Andy around the house!
