Amie sometimes wondered what her life would have been like if she hadn't been so ambitious. She’d spent so many years trying to move up the ladder, trying to do something important. She’d wanted to save the world.

Somehow she’d been recruited by the SAI and had eventually ended up here, in this sterile white laboratory. It was so clean you might guess no one even worked there. But from this lab came some of the most terrifying weaponry Subeta had seen.

It was all developed and tested here by Amie and her team. Once it had been signed off on, it would be whisked away for further testing. They would eventually see some released to the battling public- never by means that could be traced back to the SAI- for private use. Some technology she never saw again, and her files on those would magically go missing.

She hated not knowing where her designs went. She had been trying to save the world, but would one of her weapons end up destroying it? Was the world a more dangerous place now that she had helped develop all these new weapons? She wasn't sure she wanted to know that answer.
