Saria is a tribute to my real cat. I lost her to feline mammary cancer on September 6th, 2013.
I cannot stress this enough. Please have your female cats spayed at a young age to reduce the risk of cancer.
Had Saria been spayed before her first heat the risk of cancer would have been reduced by about 80 percent.
The fault is mine, she wasn't fixed until she was eight years old when I almost lost her to a uterus infection.
Over the course of about four months she had three surgeries to try and remove all of the tumors. We had amazing vets and they did everything they could butthe tumors kept coming back. They were bleeding, her body was seizing up and my little fighter was reaching her limit. I adopted Saria when I was nine years old... she was only ten, she'd been with me for half of my lifetime.
Letting her go was the most painful decision of my life.

Some day, when I can afford to commission the right artists and coders I will have a proper profile done for her. I have the vision for it but I do not know how to put it into words.

For now, I'm happy to just be able to showcase all of the beautiful artwork I've had done of her. :heart:
