Condom- The LARPing Weiner Dog

Leave it to my owner to name me Condom. I am a fantastic dachshund who joins in on the local LARP (Live Action Roleplay). What is nice is that I am not the only dog. We normally stick to medieval storm the castle to become the new king sort of deal. I do sport a fancy armor getup with a helmet. Gotta protect that head you know. And I even have a cute little tail set.

Most times I am set free to roam as soon as the action begins. Being low to the ground is pretty useful. I easily maneuver my way from the action to a quieter spot. I like to watch the humans smack each other with foam swords and shields. I am glad it doesn't hurt most of the time, or those humans going against my owner will have a little ankle biter to deal with. My owner and their friends love to chant Protect thy weiner! when they make their descent onto the battlefield. Sometimes it distracts other players, other times it leads to them getting their butts handed to them because they brought too much attention to themselves. It's good fun though.

Best part is that I am such a cute dog, I bring a lot of attention. If I feel like helping out our little battle squad, I will charge in. I will charge gloriously into the battlefield and bark. Usually, it gets most of the female players, and a few males to turn their attention to me. Then we snuff them out. I also love going to the fallen players for belly rubs. so far I have only been killed a pawful of times. Some people are just cat people you know?
