Lucas Connolly is a 28-year-old piercer and tattooist with his own shop, Pins & Needles.

The elaborated story.

Lucas and his family were originally from Ireland and they moved to Washington when Lucas was still a baby. His sister, Linda, was nine.

Looking back at Lucas at eight years old, it was noticeable he was abused. He would show up in school covered in bruises and with black eyes, all because of his father's violent nature of "disciplining" and his mother's way of looking past the father's flaws. This went on until he turned fifteen and was gifted with his little brother, Pearson, and his mother finally gained rationality and left the father.

Signs of trauma showed in Lucas' violent behaviour toward his boyfriends, one night stands, classmates and teachers, yet he still managed to achieve a successful life when he graduated from college with a degree in body arts (tattooing and piercing). He did so well he was in the top of the class.

He opened his own shop shortly after graduation and his life seemed stabilised, but in actuality his mother and Linda hated him, and only the unknowing Pearson was left as a compatible relative. (Pearson's accident causing blindness also affects Lucas to become quite the softie when around his brother but no one ever gets to see this side of him.)

He's a drunk; abusive, manipulative, and stubborn - and always gets his will. He hides his feelings behind this façade and gets rid of (most of) his frustrations through working out (ie. running in the park, weightlifting, boxing).
