Darkside, a place few have gone, but the ones who call it home; would never leave for a moment. Volcanoes litter the surface of this country, threatening everyone with the lava. Benjamin Brethil braves these mountains daily, studying their mystery and wonder. Being a Volcanologist is no easy task.

His companion, a tiny firefox always at his side as he charts lifts and falls of the lava liquid. He thought his life was completed, until one day his cabling snapped, sending him downward into the temperatures below. His flesh felt as if it was melting from his bones, which in most cases it would be. When he awake, it was a dark room.

For years he has been a Kumos, reborn from the fires that took his human form. His companion still kept close and his studies still commenced. But for him to keep his life and form, he must fight off the evils of Subeta. Entering the ring is no easy task, but he equips himself with many tools to emerge victoriously.
