Horror Drive had long since been abandoned by the town. Fear surrounded the neighborhood as tales of hauntings circulated and dissuaded any potential buyers. It was said that ghosts, ghouls, and goblins - to name a few - took up residence within the dilapidated homes of the dreary street. However, no one was brave enough to confirm such things.
This is where you came in. You had heard the rumors of Horror Drive and were eager to uncover the truth. You decided that the perfect night to do so would be Halloween. Dressed in costume, you figured that you could blend in and go unnoticed by any inhuman occupant.
You were wrong.
"Hello!" a soft voice echoed from behind you, startling you only minutes into your quest.
"Oh! You must be trick or treating!" It squealed excitedly, "Well, there is plenty of candy to go around. Help yourself!"
"Your zombie costume is quite clever, though rather inaccurate," it critiqued as you piled candy into your backpack.
Suddenly the creature's mood shifted and its voice became hushed, "Just be wary of the trickster that lives next door!"
You glanced at the house that the cloaked creature had warned you about and when you turned back to thank it, it was gone.
You heeded the warning and decided it best to head home and enjoy the mountain of precious candy.

"Oh! You must be trick or treating!" It squealed excitedly, "Well, there is plenty of candy to go around. Help yourself!"
