everyone always joked about the zombie invasion. it was just another horror movie trope, another tired-out video game idea. no one ever took that shit seriously. until it happened. but by the time the government stopped being quiet about how deadly this really was, it was already too late. millions were gone, including most of clayton oxley's city. a former bodyguard to a professional singer, he had no problems with the quick-thinking and brute strength he'd need to survive. after he was too late to save his charge, he rounded up whatever supplies he could, took his dog, and went off in search of the rest of humanity.
