You will all regret the day you laughed at Dr. Jamison Junkenstein!
Dr. Jamison Junkenstein crossed the Rainbow Bridge on 15 November 2020.
Full Name: Dr. Jamison Junkenstein
Estimated Birthdate: Mid-to-late January 2013-2014*
Coat Color: Sandy Champagne
Rescue Date: 14 August 2017
Unique Traits: Ribs are partially separated, two crooks in tail, missing top left prominent canine and tooth behind it, whippet ferret build (thin and higher off the ground), King of Dooks
Name Origin: Junkrat is my favorite Overwatch character, so of course his Hallowe'en counterpart was an instant-favorite considering Hallowe'en is one of my favorite holidays. Thus Junkenstein was named after Dr. Jamison Junkenstein, renamed from Wheezy after I rescued him as I refer to all of my ferrets as Wheezy Weasels.

I really wish I would've gotten more pictures of Junkenstein while he was still with me. Ferrets live such short lives and are such a wonderful treat.
My ferrets are free-roam unless it's time to eat, I'm asleep/at work, or they cannot be properly supervised.
*Thinking back on the information I was given when I rescued Junkenstein, I feel he was probably 1-2 years older than I originally thought. Especially considering how he had passed away. The cause of death is uncertain as he crashed hard like ferrets tend to do and sadly we did not see the vet in time because of Covid restrictions. He had a lot more white fur than my other two ferrets do at the same age I had estimated him at, another reason I believe he was at least 1-2 years older.
He had a hard life before I rescued him and I was told by a friend at the time that they honestly thought he was going to die shortly after I picked him up. He weighed as much as my female ferret when males are supposed to be at least twice the weight of their female counterparts and he was covered in fleas. I had to get his weight up before I could even properly treat him for his fleas. He made it through and lived what I hope to be a happy, love-filled life; he gave me kisses frequently and there at the end when I put him on my bed with me as he got really bad he did his best to stay by my side. In one instance he got off of the bed, couldn't get back up, and ended up on the couch curled up in a pair of my pajama shorts I had worn the night before and forgot to put in the hamper because he wanted to be with me. That little baby loved me just as much as I loved him.
