Ephraim is really optimistic, he's always looking at the bright side of things and prefers to be happy no matter what hardships he endeavors. He's always looking forward to something new. Eph is also the most honest and loyal friend anyone could have. Even though he is extremely social and charming enough to befriend most people, he keeps very few people close to him. He's often not taken seriously by anyone because of easily he can make light of things and tell jokes. Despite how approachable Eph is, he has a bit of narcissism in him. Eph is the type of person to tell a joke or say something funny and then follow up with something along the lines of "I'm so funny."

He doesn't forget anyone that has helped or done a favor for him, so he's always sure to make it worth their time. He's generous, enjoys magic, and plays quite a few instruments. Because he's a quick learner, he will often pick up tricks other performers have used and incorporate them into his own shows with his own twist to them.

❂ Synopsis

Ephraim never stays in one location for too long; he's a bit of a nomad. This is mostly because he needs to make a living off his shows and his love of travelling. Before he started travelling, he lived in a rather large town and sold magic spells, potions, etc. At the time, Eph was very well known by the town's people for his spells and other various wares. Eph was the town's local salesman, chances were that if you were looking for something, Eph would have it. He had an exceptional reputation and a thriving business. One day, however, a client with malicious intentions (unknown to Eph) asked Eph for some dark magic spells and potions. After going through the customary explanation of rules, guidelines, and disclaimers, Eph sold him a few spells and potions. Soon after, Eph got caught and was charged as a criminal for being the one to sell the black magic spells. Eph is then exiled.

Life after being exiled proved to much more enjoyable for Eph. He now goes around putting on performances for children; his performances mainly consist of him doing magic tricks or singing, telling stories, etc. Even though he finds joy in bringing smiles and wonder to children, he is still a businessman at heart. He can be persuaded into selling dark magic spells for an incredibly tempting offer, but he's much more careful now. Money doesn't really interest him anymore though. He's always looking for new spell books, materials, rare trinkets, anything that can't be found anywhere else.

After years of moving around, he finally comes across a large trading center near an oasis and is captivated by all of the different people and cultures. He considers making himself a permanent home at the hub and lives there for a few months, but eventually grows tired of sitting around in the same place, selling the same items, and performing the same shows. Eph packs his things and leaves the oasis in search of something new.

Many years of travelling have slowly come to wear Eph down. He realized that he can't settle down in one place because he's been looking for something he never he wanted. So he set out on a new path, to find the one thing no one can ever offer him.
