Luka
Aran's original ride or die. They've definitely come close to the "die" part on more than one occasion, as they've been an infamously mischievous pair of friends for two decades; while Aran has more common sense than Luka, being in close proximity with him seems to shut off most of her brain cells, and together they make the worst decisions. There's a lot of love between the two, and they affectionately call each other "sibs from another crib".
Delilah
Although they met under shaky circumstances, Aran and Delilah both quickly discovered that they can keep up a good banter, and that they share many hobbies. Aran's restrained nature stands in stark contrast to Delilah's explosive attitude, but it's precisely these differences that allow the two to be best friends, as they manage to keep each other in balance. While Aran is appreciative of the friendship, let's be honest here: she is wholly in love with Delilah, although the latter either does not know or does not care. There's a lot of angst on Aran's end, for she's never felt quite so strongly over a girl who claims to be straight.
Aoske
Aoske is Luka's younger sister, and another of Aran's lifelong friends. Fun fact: Aran and Aoske actually dated for a couple of months during high school, although it ultimately ended with them realizing they were better off as friends. She had been traveling with Aran and Luka through the post-apocalyptic wasteland, but unfortunately, she went missing about a year ago under suspicious circumstances. Aran and Luka have made it their mission to find her, no matter the cost.
