Atra was a total lap kitty to those whom she deemed worthy. The lady spent most of her time using her chosen humans as worship thrones. She was and has been one of the grouchiest cats I've ever met to date. She was super hardcore spiteful, and very vocal about it. It's why I named her Atra. Vet visit? I had to prepare to have her trying to poop in my shoes if I left them where she could get at them for about a week. She would meow to get me to look and then quickly drop log. She'd chill out after a few days, once she had spite puked where I walk if she couldn't get my shoes instead lol.. She also did NOT like new people, at all, never ever. I had to shove a litter box, food dish, and water bowl under our bed anytime folks stayed over. When my niece lived with us for a few months before leaving for college? It took over a full month before she would even come out of our bedroom! I had people scoff in disbelief at me when I told them that I had another cat in the house. They'd never actually seen her because of how she would hide. She adored Rueben, and was never the same after he crossed the bridge a few years ago. I'd like to think that they've been reunited.

Atra made it to be around 13 1/2 - 14 years old. She was the sickly, inbred kitten of a feral stray. When I realized she was fading, she was already crossing. So it was to late to even try to take her to the vet. I just held her until she went, it was really fast and sudden. My heart is still really hurting atm...
She crossed around 2:30 am on 9-01-2019.
