Blimpmon is a Vehicle-species Digimon that can fly leisurely through the sky. Its soft blimp body is protected by a metal coating, but it appears to still be in development, as its left flank remains exposed. Its signature move is Helium Bomb, which involves shooting out bombs filled with helium gas and then causing them to explode. Its special move is Zeppelin Explosion, where it fires cannonballs from the two cannons on top.

An Airship Digimon that soars through the heavens. The previously incomplete Blimpmon Digivolved into MasterBlimpmon via improvements and remodeling. Now complete, its formerly exposed balloon has been equipped with armor. Its finalized armor has reduced air resistance, increasing MasterBlimpmon's cruising speed. This allows it to deliver its passenger Digimon swiftly to the battlefield.

For its Zeppelin Circus move, MasterBlimpmon shoots a bombardment of guided missiles from its many gunports. During Daredevil Break, it crashes at breakneck speed into enemy encampments, ramming them with the drill on its bow.

A Blimpmon named Kyzer living in an iteration of the Digital World. Emily appeared to him in the form of a Lunamon and brought him to Serannian to fight Nyarlathotep as a member of the Just Balloons.

In the Digital World, Kyzer had never been able to evolve to MasterBlimpmon. He was always ashamed he couldn't evolve and embarrassed by his physical appearance, especially his exposed balloon innards and his green eyes (since most Blimpmons' eyes are blue). In a haze of self-pity and depression, he found his way to the Dark Ocean and wandered out over it, where he became lost.

Possibilities:
- Kyzer encountered Ordinemon there, and she tried to encourage him from her own experiences.
- Ordinemon summoned Emily somehow because she thought Kyzer could help her defend Serannian, and it would give him a sense of self-worth.
- Or Emily saw Kyzer's encounter with Ordinemon and saw his potential, and came for him on her own.
- Or he didn't encounter Ordinemon at all, and Emily found him on the Dark Ocean instead.

However it happens, Emily brought Kyzer to Serannian, and he joined the Just Balloons. Nyarlathotep promised that if Kyzer betrayed them, Nyarly would make him evolve to MasterBlimpmon. But Kyzer refused, and in fighting with the Just Balloons, his selfless desire to help them in battle caused him to evolve on his own. Once he quit focusing on himself and his limitations, and tried his best to use everything he had in order to help his friends, Kyzer was able to evolve, and he fought Nyarly bravely and protected the other balloons until Poof used his staff to triumph over Nyarly.

After the battle, Kyzer devolved back into Blimpmon, but now he's content to remain a Blimpmon in his default state as he helps to guard Serannian, and he's no longer ashamed of his appearance. If another war comes, he'll be able to evolve again. He later meets Aerostat, and they become best friends. Kyzer supports Aerostat through his PTSD.
