Felix has a minion!

Felix's favourite time of all year is fall. He loves the changing colours, and the sound of the leaves when he steps on them. How he could blend into a pile and sneak up on his friends and surprise them, and make them all laugh.


He loves how the flowers stand out against the oranges and brown hues of the leaves. The bright yellow of the sunflowers and the white, peach and pink of the foxgloves make for a beautiful picture, so soft and delicate, swaying in the wind.


Mushrooms growing in the woods also brings Felix delight, seeing them growing on the trees, and on the forest floor, peaking from underneath the leaves. Seeing his squirrel and bird friends standing on them, and or carrying them away off into their homes to nibble on for dinner. They are delicious, he gives them that, Felix will also take one or two home as well to eat for dinner, or to hide them away in his collection of treasures, mostly because he just thinks they're neat, and he likes to be reminded of his favourite season.


The berries too! Oh how he loves those sweet treats, and his friends the deer too! Their bright red hue making them easy to hunt for. He and his friends will spend the afternoon looking for them, lazily walking around their home, enjoying the day. Felix and the fawns jumping over logs and racing each other to see who is the fastest, and if anyone asks, Felix totally lets them win. The porcupine though is less than thrilled when they race by him, always telling them to slow down.


Honey is also one of the best things ever in Felix's opinion, and the bears of the woods think so too, especially the cubs! It can be so tricky to get since it's always up so high in the trees. Felix is always so thankful when mamma bear is around to knock it down for them all, and they can share a tasty snack.


By the end of the season, Felix's belly has been filled with delicious food, and he has made even more amazing memories with his friends in the woods. His treasure chest has been topped up with mushrooms, acorns, pinecones and flowers. He is ready and prepared for winter, and cannot wait for next fall to come.
