This is physical manifestation of the genius that is Brometheus,
our Honorable Joshua Thomas,
or as he's fondly and most respectfully referred to in the land he protects: Big Bro.

When his data was being uploaded, there was a glitched that patched into the Botany and Horticulture database and downloaded... well, everything. And he has put that knowledge to use of his own accord with great success.

Where his farmhand, Compatriot, is trusted to handle the heavy workload, Big Bro spends most of his time taking stock of his wares, utilizing his knowledge for survival-prepping, or experimenting at the Propagation Station.
